Book Drive at Artists Space NYC for Books Through Bars
For the duration of the exhibition (Feb.10 - Mar. 31) we are seeking to collect and distribute softcover art books that are NOT spiral-bound, including:
art books with landscapes or portraits
instructional how to draw books
Mayan art
other Central American/Precolombian art
Egyptian art
other African art
These books will then be sent to incarcerated people throughout the state/country as requested.
