Ohhh that’s fun! As long as you love what you’re doing and you’re having fun, that’s what matters. I think that’s the brilliant thing about music - you really get a chance to explore lots of different genres and styles. That sounds brilliant and so much fun!
So TRL was fun. Got to meet A$AP Ferg and the chance to reminisce on the fact that I was on the show ten years ago with Nat. I try to not focus on how long things happened but TRL even though it was fun that brought up a lot of memories. In another note. I took the My Friend Dahmer Instagram story. That was fun. I should talk to Nat and see if we start posting on our instagram story.
Is A$AP Ferg a name? I’m honestly... just sort of... completely thrown off by that. I don’t even know what to say. But I’m glad you had fun. That’s always good. I’ve not got an instagram but I feel like I should maybe get one, everyone always seems to be doing really amazing and cool things on there.

It does.. time to create a new hero! Did you enjoy your time on the show? I just never got into it, but I’ve heard so many good things about it. That sounds like a real struggle with growing up, but all that just made you stronger and come to appreciate so much more. As much as I enjoy being a brunt, I kinda would also be a redhead.
I know! We need to contact someone about writing about this new, incredibly strong and brilliant heroine. I’m sure they’ll listen and start writing immediately. Hahaha Oh, I loved - LOVED - my time on the show. I got to shoot in Iceland over three years with some of the most amazing cast and productive teams I’ve ever worked with. It was truly an incredible experience that I can’t properly... even find words for. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, of course. I had friends that took time to get into it. They didn’t like it at first because there were so many people and places to keep track of, but once they got a grip on things, they loved it. But it’s not for everyone. And yeah, that’s life, isn’t it? Our struggles - big or small - make us better in some way. Being a ginger is brilliant. You should just always go ginger. It’s the best. ALSO... started Riverdale the other night. I think I’m on the fourth episode. Completely addicted already.

I completely understand! Aw so sorry I can’t actually help with that, but I hope you’ve found amazing things to do to take up your time and energy. LA’s a wonderful city. I’m sure you’ll have found something brilliant there!

Ohhh, music is definitely not something I’m cut out for. I can appreciate it, but I’ve just never been able to sing or do anything like that. It’s quite sad, but hey, I’m happy with what I’m doing in life, so I can’t complain. I’ll definitely give it a listen. What sort of style is it? Yeah... some of what I’ve been listening to are definitely classics, but some are definitely... personal favourites that may be about as far from classic as it gets. Just sort of the old tried and true stuff. Whatever will make me feel happy and comfortable. But I love finding new music too!

Make me aware of being alive
Going out and downing one drink after another was a piece of cake; it’s what people were dreadful of when they thought of partying with him for years. But this night was different for Kit, because none of it served any other purpose than the one to help him forget. Forget about what has happened on this day exactly a few months back, forget about what it feels like to have your whole world shatter, forget about what it’s like to be free to be in love with Rose and be truthful about her being the only woman you see yourself spending an eternity with… Forget about everything. That was the plan for the night, however, no matter how much he tried, the reminder of this obligation always crept back to make him think of everything he was trying to dull his senses about.
He still tried, though, and oh did he try hard. Having plenty of their friends around was extremely helpful and, granted, they did keep him busy with stupid stuff like their own little dance choreography to a certain song or a shots challenge which left his head spinning. However, Kit’s heart would drift back to the lost life he missed by a shot soon as his glance would catch Rose. No matter how hard he’d been trying to avoid direct contact with her throughout the evening, it was inevitable the walls would crash down eventually. After… god knows which drink in a row, certainly, but he did muster enough courage to creep behind her back once nobody was around and plant a kiss on the back of her head with his arm around her ever so slightly. Only for a brief moment, but the gesture still felt like scratching a barely healed wound… “Craving to get John drunk off his arse yet? I can’t believe he’s developed all these brand new moves, he’s making the rest of us look like fools,” Kit joked about John’s dancing skills so casually, as if he was truly fascinated by that and that alone - as if what he truly wanted was so not some time alone with Rose to check how she’s doing and admit he’s been feeling like shit for days, too…

Rose had believed it would take an act of the gods to pull her from her bed, to make her venture out into the world where on every corner she was faced with some reminder of the life that had slipped through her fingers. And when she had been invited out drinking with her friends and former colleagues, Rose had hesitated for a moment. On the one hand all she had wanted was to drink enough to erase this day from her memory - to wake up tomorrow with no recollection of anything that had happened the night before - and yet... and yet on the other hand, it felt too soon, too cruel to be so near Kit on so painful a day. It was a day she wasn’t sure she would ever forget. A day she would never get over. And Kit... Well... Rose wasn’t sure she would ever get over him. Not completely. Oh, she was aware of the fact that he had moved on and was happy in a relationship with someone else, and she was happy enough for him. The possibility of a future with Kit had ended long ago on that day... this day...
Somehow she had adopted a smiling expression, laughing and conversing with her friends enough that no one seemed to notice that she felt as though she were shattering once again on the inside, quickly trying to pull the pieces of herself back together again. She drank and drank, the heavy buzz growing stronger so she had at least felt a little bit numb to the world. How Rose got through the social side of the night, she would never totally understand. Clearly she had simply become a master of pretending that everything was absolutely fine. It was brilliant. Completely wonderful. Fucking peachy. A sudden arm wrapped ever-so-gently around her and a kiss was planted against the back of her head, shocking her from her hazy reverie. Glancing over her shoulder, her heart stopped for a moment when she saw Kit’s face - a face she knew better than almost anyone else’s. A face she’d once believed she would see grow old over the years. A half-smile curved her lips. “He’s definitely learned some moves since the last I saw him,” she agreed softly. The smile didn’t reach her eyes. She looked up toward Kit for a moment, then away, looking back toward the people out dancing, having fun, completely oblivious to what was happening in her little corner. She couldn’t bring herself to look at Kit. His physical presence was difficult enough - on this day of all days. Everything hurt. Simple as that.
I know it’s barely October, it’s not even Halloween yet, much less Thanksgiving for all your Americans out there, but is it too bad that I’m already excited for Christmas? My lifestyle products launch has gotten me so ready for the festive season impressively ahead of time, and now I’m planning Vlogmass and I have no idea how to handle all this excitemenet.

This time of year is absolutely my favourite time of year - but I think even in October, there’s a part of me that’s really just ready for Christmas to roll around. Oh, that’s exciting! Congratulations on getting new music out there. I’m so so envious of anyone with a lick of musical talent. Truly, it blows my mind. I’ve not heard it though, but I’m sure it’s absolutely brilliant! I’ve been terrible about listening to new musical lately. Just been on a sort of constant loop with my old favourites.
So today’s one of those days where I woke up with a bunch of energy but have no plans on how to waste it. Anyone want to come tire me out? I promise it’ll be fun and I’ll even buy you lunch or drinks. Even both if I really like you. Oh! I’m Behati, nice to meet you!
I love and hate days like that! It’s such a lovely change to have all that energy when you’ve been working so hard all the time and always feel like you can’t quite catch up, you know? But if I don’t have anything to do, I always end up feeling quite restless to an almost painful degree. I have to go run until I exhaust myself or something just to get all that energy out. I’d offer to help, but unless you’re in Belfast right now, I’m probably a bit far away! But it’s lovely to meet you! I’m Rose.

I get that too, but something will come, maybe we just need to spend more time together. Ah, right, that makes since. Well, I’m glad to hear you learned to love it.
Red Rose sounds like a seductive superhero or something, so I LOVE IT. And yeah - I was on Game of Thrones for a bit. Hahaha it was a great time, but not everyone’s cup of tea, completely understand that. Oh yeah, I had a few years of being a bit of an awkward child, but then full-on middle child syndrome hit and I probably drove everyone at home completely mental all the time. Putting on shows, demanding attention in any way possible. But for all the inner turmoil I felt at being a ginger, it’s certainly helped me get a few roles. I can’t complain at all. I’m quite happy.

Well I think Rose can work as roses are red. Is that a reference to a show you work on? Though I’m sure we could think of something or you can take hothead being the true redhead here. Why’d you hate it? Very, redheads are very uncommon. I’m glad to hear it and I’m sure you’ll love the show.
Yeah, it could work. But it’s also my name! So it’s not really a nickname! Hahaha yeah, might have been a reference to a show I used to be on. Not anymore though. I’m sure we can come up with something! Of course I say that and my mind goes completely blank. I hated it because I suffered from extreme middle child syndrome, plus I’m the only ginger of my siblings, so it took me a bit to get used to it. But I love it now. Just typical... learning to like yourself sort of childhood learning, you know?

I like that nickname. I need one. Everyone either calls me Rose or they just yell out “You know nothing, Jon Snow!” at me. There’s really no in-between. I want a nickname though! Hahaha but I remember hating my hair when I was a young child, but I quite love it now. It’s special. I’m excited to watch your show. I’ll have to start it soon.
