rosecurse came in for a tune up
{ ★ } Yusei lifted his head as he heard the door open, a smile gracing his features when he recognized the face. He stood up, stepping around the Duel Runner which had been left in his care overnight. “Akiza, hey,” he greeted warmly. “I thought you were still studying abroad, what brings you back to New Domino?”
A smile came to her face when the raven haired male came into her sight. "Yusei!" She exclaimed a little too loudly. In all honesty she wasn't expecting anyone she knew to be here, but she was wrong. "Ah, I got a tad bit homesick." It wasn't something she was happy about, but it's not like she could help it now. "I wasn't expecting to see you here, really."

That was not the answer she was hoping for… but, really, what other response could there be? This living, breathing mirror image of herself could be no other than… well, Aki Izayoi.
… Right?
“… As am I.” Aki responds after an uneasy silence, which it quickly lapses back into as she continues to stare at the other woman across from her. Aki and… Aki. Was this even possible? Or was she dreaming? Or maybe this was some sort of hallucination… Augh. All this building confusion was quickly growing into a painful headache. Eyebrows narrowing further, the dark haired female stood up straighter and eyed the other… uh, ‘her’ skeptically.
“Are you from the Z-one’s universe..?”
How could this be happening? Nothing came to mind until she brought up Z-one's universe. But that wasn't right either. It didn't answer the question as to why there were two of the same person, and that person being herself. Of course if she asked the question it couldn't mean that she was from there, right?
"No, I don't belong to his universe. I suppose you're not from it either."
Everything about them was the same. The length of their hair, the color of their eyes, their height was even the same. Could anyone explain this to them? She wasn't the only one that was confused.
"I think I can trust you, well technically myself, to work together to find a solution to this weird incident."
He wasn’t sure if he could ever change, no matter what. That was probably one of his many main issues with not only this situation, but everything. He didn’t bother to try and hide his hate, there was no more point to that, considering Aki now knew how two faced he really his. Then again, even if she didn’t know, it’s not like he’d do too much to hide his actual hate. Not only did it frustrate him, but it severely bothered Divine how Aki’s friends are there for her. He couldn’t pinpoint the exact feeling, but he knew it just irritated him, to think she has people for her now, that her hopeless situation changed. How she’s happier now than she ever was in the Arcadia Movement. It’s not as if he cared if she were happy or not there, all he needed was to use her, but despite that… Maybe it was a silly thought, much like everything else he was thinking. He knew how petty he must be, and that just maybe… maybe he should actually try. Try to open up perhaps, be willing for minor adjustments for the time being.
Yes, even he himself had somewhat of a hard time believing he said what he did. Even if it was because of a different motive, agreeing to cooperate was still a big change to him, something he’s not used to, or rather, doesn’t want. He knew though, that this would be for the best right now. If he didn’t then either they’d be back at square one, or she’d be completely done with him. “If you say so, but don’t forget who you’re dealing with.” His tone remained emotionless, but he had a tiny sneer. It was honestly something Divine couldn’t begin to imagine; peace. If she really could ‘help’ him then that very well could be possible, but now, that type of thing was unimaginable to him. “Hmph, well that’s true. If I can understand you better then…” His sentence trailed off, and he put his hand near his mouth, thinking. That was actually something he wanted to hear from her. He needed to see how she sees things, how she does deal with matters. It could help, considering how he was used to understanding her before, and now see was so foreign to him. If that can change, it would help him. He’d never given thought to how their roles turned around now. Her ‘taking him in now’… Considering how he fueled her hatred more with his influence just maybe she could influence him in a positive light. Not that Divine could think of it in that way if he even gave a thought to it. He wouldn’t give up the hope that he could revert her back to the Aki he knew. Divine knew she most likely could hear some of what he muttered, and somewhat bothered by how she didn’t say anything about it. It made sense why she didn’t, but Divine couldn’t help but click his tongue in annoyance. So odd to think how not too long ago, that Aki was almost in the same situation as Divine. Having nothing but thoughts of vengeance and hatred, and now she’s much better off. All he’s done is concentrate everything into those negative thoughts, every single dark emotion. Aki though, she’s repaired many things, and most likely thinking of a positive future. It’s as if he’s stuck in time, not even trying to move. It would never occur to Divine that Aki would miss them being close. He figured she’d never want that back, considering how he’s treated her, how he’s done nothing but lie to her. It was true; he’s not once tried to get along with the current her, the actual Aki. If his mind wasn’t so clouded in the past though, that very well could change, even if he himself wouldn’t admit it. Similar to Aki’s own fear of them not becoming close again, he feared that she wouldn’t come back to him, the Arcadia Movement. That she wouldn’t only depend on him once more and use those powers. That needed to change, he had to stop thinking that way. Even if those thoughts were brief, he knew. This was only going to end in a bad way if that continued… He shook his head, All I need is revenge though, isn’t it? His thoughts were cut off, as he heard Aki once more. Divine couldn’t help but chuckle slightly, she was right. Maybe he wasn’t aware anymore. “I have to admit, you’re right. Maybe for a while now I’ve had no idea.” He didn’t know how else to reply to her, he was already probably sounding somewhat… ‘Crazy’. Divine continued to smirk, “I guess you shouldn’t even try to be a ‘hero’, since there’s no such thing anyway.” Not sure if he should reply to the other part she said, he bit his tongue. She should know full well he’d never agree with that she just said, considering all he wants is to cause others pain. “…Try all you like.” After clearing his throat, Divine stopped. “Stopping my bad intentions… heh, this world is the only thing that is ‘bad’. They deserve punishment.” He looked away, “…So do you have any plans whatsoever to try and ‘stop’ me? To ‘change’ me?”
She wanted to let him though he could be happy without wanting to get revenge. That people wouldn't push him away if he wasn't full of hate. It was obvious now that he was almost flaunting how much he hates and disapproves of everything that doesn't agree with his ways. So many other people have changed, including herself, but it seemed like he was the only one that was still in the past. What else could she say or do to convince him that changing would be better for him? Nothing came to mind besides what she already has said or thought of. Aki just hoped that some of this was getting through to Divine, just a small bit. If that was the case, it starts with a small case of doubt and it blossoms from there. All she needed to do was plant the seed and if she just kept up what she was doing it would have to work eventually.
Finally, it was about time he at least agreed to try. Of course this would be a bit harder than before when she was following him. She was already filled with hate, like he was. Now, they weren't different so it wouldn't be as easy. They both knew that it would be completely different than before, but it was never vocalized, not that it needed to be anyway. "As if I could forget that I'm having to deal with you." No hostility was in her voice and she was making sure she didn't come off as rude unless he gave her a reason to. "If you can understand me better then what?" Aki was curious as to what he was thinking but didn't want to pry unless there was a blatant opportunity like this one. It was hard to gauge where his mind was now. Since the two had spent so much time apart she had no idea what could even be running through his mind. Aki almost felt defeated by his reactions. She couldn't give up, but it was hard to keep everything in order when she was barely getting anything positive back. It shouldn't be expected from him though. "I just want to help you." It was quiet, but she knows that it was loud enough for him to hear. She didn't want to fight with Divine, not over speculations that he thought could happen. There wasn't a point in it. They would fight and there was a possibility that if it did happen, the two would get so irritated and upset with each other that they wouldn't talk to each other again. Neither of them wanted that, right? The two use to be so close, because their thought patterns were so similar. They wanted to do and cause harm. There wasn't anything positive for her to look towards. The both of them were just so absorbed in everything negative, it seemed like it was irreversible like they couldn't get out of the rut that they were in. When Aki found help it was unreal. She didn't think it was possible to find a way out and maybe that's how Divine feels as well. If that's the case all she had to do was just spend time and work with him to fix his problems with everyone. Would he be the one that was dependent on her now? He hurt her feelings over multiple things, now and in the past, but it didn't stop her from missing him. Divine wasn't the person that she would usually even associate with now, but he was different. 'Please just come to your senses...' Her attention went back to him as soon as he started speaking again and what he was saying wasn't surprising. So, he doesn't even know what he's saying anymore? "That's crazy, it's not going to make things better for you if you don't have even a clue of what you're talking about." There were so many things wrong with him, but at least he was open about them. "I'll never be a hero, just want to help others." A sigh could be heard coming from her as she thought about what he saying. If this is what Divine was saying, then what he was thinking must have been much worse. "They're not all bad. You're just making them out to be bad. To normal standards, you're in the wrong this time." The way he was speaking was making her feel nervous. He still seemed dead set on not changing no matter how much she was telling him that she wouldn't let him. "I'll do something to stop you from harming others. While you're with me, I'll make sure you don't hurt anyone. It'll take time, but I will change your ways."
.
It's good to see you. I trust you're doing well?
"I'm fine. Just a tad bit stressed. It's been too long. How have you been?"
Those eerie eyes made of onyx and sapphire kept looking at the red head girl with that empty dead look, piercing her in a way that was so different from the past one, indeed the lad always owned a pair of very deep and piercing eyes, but now.. it was like they was demon’s eyes… as the darkness around the once pure and blue was now dimming it in some way, the slight panting continued as the tan skin male kept making chocking like noises, the mark of the Condor kept burning in his forearm but just in sensation, as the glow had faded long ago, the stingy pain remained as if the boy was marked with a hot poker, like reacting to the girl in front of him..
The gloved hand that was taking hers began to squeeze a bit more stronger than before, as his body began to slightly shake, that light-headed sensation that the dark one had experienced before was returning, making Yusei to groan a little, not noticing his hand was begining to crush Aki’s “It is a curse… Goodwing knew.. we couldn’t win… so he send us… to an already lost war… he was just toyed around..” his teeth was clenching so hard that made his jaw to shiver as his dark messy locks layered upon his eyes as he talked.
It was frustrating to see him either in pain or like he had no emotions at all. There really was no in between that she could tell. From what she could tell he was still in pain. She reached out to him and tried moving the hair out of his face. Seeing this made her feel awful, like she weak and couldn't protect her friends anymore. The man she had a slight crush on and she couldn't protect him to save her life. 'I'm so sorry,' was running through her head, nothing else could really happen.
"That's not true, Yusei. It can't be... You changed the way I looked at everything and now you're falling into the same pit of despair that I was once stuck in. Don't do this to yourself." It didn't matter if he was hurting her hand, she didn't care about that. The only thing she wanted was to make him feel better. The more she sat here and watched the harder it got for her to see him like this. "Please just let me help you." She was reduced to begging, but it didn't matter to her at the current moment.
Hello Aki.
"S-Sherry! I wasn't expecting to see you here."
The duelist got set to go and ride his duel runner with Aki. He put on his helmet and got on the runner. They both drove off into the street. He saw Aki, smiling. She was seeming to enjoy the place, her home, Neo Domino City. It was the place where she was born and she love. Not only that but they’re riding together. It was too, along time since they rode together into the street.
When they arrived, they both park their duel runner. The skating place. It was the place he trained Aki to learn the way of turbo dueling. It was a enjoyable moment it was. That’s right, although it was just Yusei skating around and teaching her the control and balance, he enjoyed it. But now he can relive that enjoyable moment here and now with Aki again.
They arrived at the skating rink and it brought back a few memories. Yusei taught her how to skate just to help her with her turbo dueling. If it wasn't for him, it would have been rough. It would have taken twice as long, if not longer to get the hang of things. She couldn't get rid of the grin that was on her face as she walked along side him getting ready to skate again. "I'm excited, you'll have to help me out a bit again, if that's okay with you." She told him as they were changing into their skates. If only Rua and Ruka were here watching all of this, it would be just like the first time. She laughed to herself as she thought of it and made her way into the rink, waiting on Yusei to join her now. "I can drive my runner perfectly fine now, but I still have trouble with this. Silly, huh?"

… What?
She wasn’t dreaming, was she? Or looking at some strange mirror of some sort? Whatever it was, it had to be… some sort a trick. There was no other possibility that she could think of to describe what she was seeing in front of her.
“Who are you?” This person couldn’t be her - this was an imposter. The only Aki Izayoi she knew of was herself. There was no other… right?
How could this be possible? There was no way that there was another person that looked exactly like her. Her eyes were playing trick on her again, that's the only possible thing that would make sense right now. "That's a good question, I can ask you the same thing." She narrowed her eyes at the identical person in front of her, not even knowing how to react to this. "I'm Aki Izayoi..." And last time she checked, her mom didn't have twins, so that wasn't a possibility either. This was going to be puzzling.
“I don’t know…I have no way of going back to my time…” he admitted. Z-one was stuck there. “I did so many bad things…”
"I think you'll adjust to this time. Just as long as you stray away from your old behavior."
“Yes…I thought I died when I pushed Yusei out of Momentum. But I woke out just out of the city and I became young and able..” he told the women.
"It's strange seeing someone look exactly like your best friend." She mumbled to herself before bringing her attention back over to him. "What do you plan on doing now?"
More people that seemed to have taken an interest on him. Ah…he has seen one of them, she was another chosen one of the Crimson Dragon and he frowned slightly. Why would they following them now? Was it fate that they will meet again? Shaking his head the blue eyed man gave them a very tiny smile.
“Hello.”
The only thing she could do was smile back at him. One of the previous dark signers was in front of her now. It was almost odd seeing one of the Dark Signers here without the intents of causing evil. Could the usual greetings be ignored because of their past?
"Hey there."
M!A gives you gills for 3 hours!
*Poof*Gills? That's crazy!
yliaster-z-one replied to your post: Hello there…
Z-one gave a small nod. “You are the woman that is friends with Yusei Fudo,.”
"That's correct." Aki paused for a minute before continuing, "I didn't expect to see you around anymore."
Hello there...
Yusei? No it couldn't be him, that could only mean, "Z-one..."
