Happy Pride! I know I'm a day late, but better late than never!

As the month of June comes to an end it's a reminder to all those Unruly Hearts out there who are loud and proud or those who are still hiding away that you matter and be there for each and everyone.

Like Barry says "People like us? Get to choose our family" and we need to be there for those who are still finding and need all the support they can get.

Anyway continuing onto the updates!

Count em we have 12 WHOLE chapters scripted and currently working on the thumbnails where I've covered up to the first two chapters.

I've discussed this before but I'm actually using a physical sketch book to visualize the whole concept and sort of makes it feel more real!

Anyway personal updates, I'm currently in the progress of looking for new living situation and moving possibly soon so some work might slow but I know I want to get close to the big event in Chapter 16 before the end of July or into August so we'll see!

It has been exactly one whole year since I begun work on The Unruly Heart Project!

Thank you for everyone who has shown their support and excitement for this silly little passion project, Script writing and thumbnails have been going smoothly and hoping to have a bigger update in the next few weeks but it's gonna be a little busy for me personally.

For those who aren't aware, I was introduced to the Prom through one of my best friends and her performing in the production (she was Shelby). And through that production it dropped me down this late theater kid rabbit hole I've been tossed into.

This artwork is actual a redraw I drew for the two leads of that production (though using the Uruly designs for Emma and Alyssa instead) and I am forever grateful for that silly little production that meant a lot to me.

How's it going!! Long time no see huh? Well since everything seems to be back on track how about I give a little update below!

Alright so mod life update. As stated during my last upload back at the beginning of January, I lost my job and honestly it killed both my mental health and my drive to do anything including this project despite saying that I had more time to work on this, I barely touched it.

So during the time I decided to just relax and job hunt focusing on that and with the beginning of April I had started a new job!

Now my focus is found back on Unruly Hearts, I am committed to keep working on it for a fun project so how bout some updates for that as well.

So far I have 6 out of 28 Chapters scripted out and going to start work on Chapter 7 and 8 as soon as possible to keep progress going at a steady pace but also,

Thumbnails for the first 2 chapters have begun! I've been enjoying my time and makes it feel I get some progress done even if I only draw a single page a day. My original plan wasn't to start doing so until I got up to Chapter 16 but that felt so far away so in the better for my progress and work follow, I decided that once I'm 4 chapters ahead of the current thumbnails, I'll start work on them.

Lastly you could see in my big page there, Emma and Alyssa are looking a bit different! Over the course of the couple months I felt my art was stagnating and every time I drew something never worked out so I decided I needed a shake up with my art style.

Here's the sort of tests I did to show the changes on how Emma and Alyssa look now! The style is still getting use to but hopefully it should even out or keep evolving!

Lastly, thanks to everyone who has shown interest or genuine excitement for this all together, it's a super niche idea and I'm doing this purely out of the love I have for the production!
