what do you think is your greatest strength, and what is one flaw youโre working on?
my greatest strength? my versatility. i can dance, rap, sing, actโthrow anything at me, and iโll make it work. itโs what keeps me relevant, keeps me excited. as for a flaw? my restlessness. i canโt sit still, canโt turn my brain off. itโs great for creativity, but itโs also exhausting.
what does your ideal day off look like?
i donโt really do โdays off.โ if iโm not performing, iโm hitting up a studio or rehearsal space to work, or iโm in a classโstill taking vocal and acting lessons because thereโs always room to improve. but iโll make sure to have fun with my peers while iโm at it. work hard, play hard, you know?
when youโre feeling stressed or tired, how do you usually recharge?
i garden. thereโs something about getting my hands in the dirt, watching something grow from nothing. or iโll just take a walkโmy place is out in the countryside, so fresh air is never far. it clears my head in a way nothing else does.
are you more of an early bird or a night owl?
early bird. i like the quiet of the morning, the way the world feels like itโs just waking up. plus, itโs the best time to get things done before everything else is demanding my attention.
do you prefer planning ahead or going with the flow?
bit of both. i like having a plan, but o wonโt cry if it goes out the windowโespecially if the alternative is more fun. lifeโs too short to stress over every little detail. plus, some of the best moments happen when you least expect them.

what is one item you cannot live without, and why is it important to you?
my phone. itโs got my music, my contacts, my schedules, my dumb memesโitโs basically my lifeline. lose that, and iโm lost. itโs also how i keep in touch with everyone, from my members to my family back in austin. itโs my connection to the world, both the one i live in and the one i left behind.
if you werenโt an idol, what career do you think youโd have?
an actor. i love the challenge of becoming someone else, of diving into a role and making it real. iโve already dipped my toes in, and iโm hooked. thereโs something about stepping into another personโs shoes and making people feel something thatโs justโฆ addictive. and if that didnโt work out? maybe a dance instructor. iโd love to pass on what iโve learned.
if you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?
speaking every language fluently. i love connecting with fans, and thereโs nothing worse than knowing i canโt understand them or make them laugh in their own language. and letโs be realโitโd be a great party trick.
what quality do you value most in a friendship?
someone who can hang out, crack jokes, and just be real. no pretenses, no pressureโjust good vibes.

iโm all for new concepts. i get bored easily, and i love a challenge. if itโs fresh and exciting, iโm in. but if itโs just for the sake of being different? hard pass. i like pushing boundaries, but iโm not about to do something just because itโs trendy.
what moment made you think โthis is why i became an idolโ?
being able to give back to my parentsโbuy them a house, take care of them the way they took care of me. watching that fruition, seeing their pride... thatโs when i knew this was all worth it. this isnโt just about me. itโs about them, too.
what role do you naturally take within your group?
i bring the energy, the humor, and the fire. and yeah, iโll be the first to hype everyone up or call them out if theyโre slacking. someoneโs gotta keep these guys on their toes, and it might as well be me.

asking for help. i donโt have a problem accepting it if itโs offered, but actually asking? thatโs tough. i like to think i can handle things on my own. old habit from trainee days, i guess. but iโm working on it.

i laugh it off and turn it into part of the performance. the crowd doesnโt need to know it wasnโt planned. if i mess up a move, iโll make it look intentional. if i forget a lyric, iโll ad-lib something even better. the show must go on, and itโs gonna be good.
when making a decision, do you tend to follow your heart or your head?
heart, usually. i trust my gut. itโs gotten me this far, and itโs rarely wrong. but iโm not recklessโiโll think things through after iโve decided to go for it. itโs a weird balance, but it works for me.
do you get more satisfaction from working towards a goal or reaching the end result more? why?
the end result, hands down. i love the process, but that final moment when everything clicks? when you see the crowdโs reaction or hold the finished album in your hands? thatโs the payoff. thatโs why we do it. the grind is necessary, but the high of crossing that finish line is what keeps me coming back.
what kind of legacy do you hope you leave behind?

the bright and wholesome energy that rose brings on the table would have been contagious if junseo himself was more of an extrovert that could absorb or mirror said energy โ instead, he tries his best to emulate said energy though in comparison it's dialed down in almost tenfolds. still, the hiraeth leader tries to keep up with his assigned partner of the day to keep the mood in high tension energy.
he reaches out to mirror the firm handshake that was offered, stating "please, feel free to call as just 'junseo'." a polite smile follows his words as he then takes a seat that faces in opposite to the other man.
"the list came out in advanced so i had to check and do my research up-" the man laughs sheepishly, admitting into his habits of learning someone or a group and looking into their content before interacting out with them. there's a couple of things junseo had learned: he's older than rose but he did debut much later than he is, he's also acted in a few dramas that junseo has watched in his free time or when he needs entertainment while eating and right now he learns that this man is really friendly.
"you'll have to look after me, sunbaenim," he modestly remarks with a sheepish smile that follows. the staff then announces that they will start filming soon and they can do whatever they want as long as they keep the interactions rolling. at the point of the cue, junseo puts on his idol persona and with his prior hosting experience, he starts. "should we introduce ourselves and which group we're from to viewers who might be watching this and wonder who we are, sunbaenim?"
roseโs grin only widened at junseoโs admission, the energy between them already shifting into something easier, more natural. โwow, junseo, you really did your homework,โ he said with an impressed laugh, leaning back in his chair just enough to take the other man in. โi shouldโve known better than to expect anything less from hiraethโs leader.โ there was a warmth in his tone, a genuine appreciation for the effort junseo had put in, even if rose himself had rolled in blind.

After almost ten years, the crescendo of sounds bursting from every direction on a photoshoot set was no longer as overwhelming and distracting as it had been when Yujin had been a teenager. Rather than diverting all of his energy into zoning out the bustle of the production team around the set, leaving only a placid expression on his face that the post production team still managed to make look good, he could now easily focus on posing and following the requests of the photographer without much distraction. It was easy now, with a knowledge of all the best angles and glances and ways to drape himself across the set and props that made the photographer shower compliments.
He and Janghyuk were seated at a table, side by side. The food was laid down for them to interact with, and Yujin picked up a macaron to helicopter through the air into Janghyuk's mouth. The photographer shot a few photos before putting the camera down. Can the two of you lean in closer to each other? Just look into each other's eyes!
Yujin put down the snack in his hand and nodded, turning to Janghyuk with a smile. He leaned in close, so much so their noses almost touched and he could have probably counted every eyelash on the younger member's eyes. "Is this okay?"
the moment yujin leaned in, janghyukโs breath hitched. the sudden proximity, the warmth of yujinโs breath against his faceโit was all too much, too fast. his fingers twitched at his sides, his usual easy grin faltering as his mind raced. this is for the photoshoot. this is just for the photoshoot. but the way yujinโs eyes locked onto his, the way his voice dropped to that low, familiar toneโit felt like something else entirely.

interviews and content shooting aren't normally too hard for junseo especially when he is the leader of the group so naturally he has his hand in memorizing and providing answers based on script or even by impromptus. today's content in particular comes with unfamiliarity since he would not be working with his members or anyone from the same label as he is, but rather with a member of origin and someone of different companies.
junseo himself isn't entirely unfamiliar with origin, having once interviewed them a couple of times during their seventh mini album comeback period back in 2020 when he was still a music show host so at least he was able to tell apart the members' faces and names. his partner for the day is someone that goes by the stage name of 'rose', which junseo thinks is cool ( and since he's always wanted a stage name himself but find that it didn't fit too well for him ). there were a couple of other things he knows of the man, mostly from searching up lynkprofile and other related contents while he was on his way to the recording venue.
