Personality and Appearance: A full-bodied human woman with a liking for breezy, handmade clothing and jewelry - she looks every part of the rustic artist that she is. Her hair is a mahogany mass of wild curls, her amber eyes perhaps the most memorable feature. Rose can seem quiet and even awkward, and though she is not the most social of butterflies, she is actively observant and curious.

Short History: Formerly a Lay Sister of of Cathedral of Light, Rosselyn was one of the many Gilnean refugees that sought safety among the Alliance after cataclysmic events shattered King Greymane's Wall. Unafflicted by the Worgen curse, but gradually losing her faith and devotion to her confining role among the human clergy, Rose sought a simple liberation as an artist, ekeing out a small living for herself with her artistry and skills with herbalism.

She has found a slow calling in Druidism, curious about the paths her Kul Tiran father left behind in his home country. She often combs through Azeroth with her massive carpet bag of artist tools in tow, seeking to explore and capture memorable sights in the traditions of graphite, paint and ink.

+ If your character has an animal companion or familiar, flowers to tend or openly studies herbology, Rosselyn will probably be very drawn to interact!

+ Just because Rose is not so much of a social butterfly doesn’t mean she doesn’t wish to connect! Like her namesake, she opens up eventually and warms to people that can relate to her, and give her their time. Also, I am very open to absolutely random encounters. The more the better!

Spotted an interesting behavior from this juvenile black-crowned night heron the other day. This appears to be a fish-luring technique called bill vibration that is more common in these low visibility waters where it’s hard to spot prey. The small movements at the surface of the water are thought to attract curious fish, which can then be snatched up by feel! No luck for the little guy on this occasion but probably good practice to get the move down at least.
