hand to heart i am not at all qualified to talk about her in any real depth but i do have to say that her relationship to both of her parents is fucking insane. i'd call it a classic case of enmeshment but that doesn't quite fit despite the similarities. there's just so many things to talk about there i wouldn't even know where to start. wearing the same costume as her mother? the magic amnesia from her father?? literally everything about sindella actually?????? and i absolutely do miss when the jla was constantly fawning over her like here's a quote from justice league of america (1960) #87: “zatanna…the girl with the enigmatic smile and dancing eyes…zatanna…ever calm in the midst of a stormy world…zatanna…the bearer of peace…” like everyone loved her!!! superman called her comfortable to be around. barry had a crush on her. and her friendships with ralph and ray were especially cute!!! i just miss when zatanna interacted with the jla in a capacity outside of the occasional emotionless cameo or even had cameos outside of the magic side of dc. does anyone remember when she was friends with the hawks.
