She raised an eyebrow at Rosemaryâs statement, her lips twisting into a bright smile. âYou know, I do happen to know quite a few Anyoneâs at this party,â she teased, it not really hitting her that she had just met this girl and that she had no idea how the brunette would react. Perhaps it was just the excitement of the party that was getting to her. Lola wasnât a party guest herself but she could feel it bouncing off of every wall. It was contagious. âAs it is, however,â she tipped her head in the other girlâs direction. âIâm a third year at Constance. Charlotte Rhodes, but most people call me Lola.â
She laughed at the girlâs teasing, hoping she had finally found someone to talk to, and wouldnât be forced to sit alone all night, staring at walls. She did look like she was working, however, and Rosemary didnât want to interrupt that. But if she was there talking to her, she surely had a few minutes to waste. âOh, really? Then it must be my lucky day! I did hear that there were a lot of Anyones around.â She replied, playing along. âItâs very nice to meet you, Lola. Iâm Rosemary Hoffer. I donât really have one nickname. You can call me Rose, Rosie, Mary... No one really calls me Mary, though.â She shook her head and chuckled, realizing she was rambling. âMaybe you should just stick to Rosemary. Iâm a second year at Constance.â
