My all year round rules :)
Always put cutlery down between bites
Drink water between every 10 bites (after every bite will leave you rlly bloated and uncomfortable)
Always leave some food left over
Medication under 20cals is ok to have and I won't count the calories
Always keep carbs below 100g (my family eat alot of breads, pastas, potatoes, etc)
Never round up calories because you'll feel worse about yourself
Don't snack unless it's mandatory
Don't except other people's food (they probably want it more than you anyway)
If you REALLY want something eat it but in a small amount so you don't binge
Chewing gum isn't good for losing appetite, the appetite will come back stronger, have a mint instead if your that desperate
Never eat lunch: you don't need it
Make excuses for not eating something (I.e. make up allergies, stomachaches, nausea, say your vegan or vegetarian even if you aren't, etc)
Don't eat more than 25g fat
Try to only eat good fats
Replace meals with diet sodas, coffees, etc because they will fill you more than water
Add cucumber to EVERY meal you eat (that you can) it's filling and low cal
If your craving something sweeter have a teaspoon of honey (mine is only 21 cals)
THROW AWAY THE FOOD THAT YOU'VE HID IN YOUR ROOM IT'S PROBABLY GOING MOULDY
Stay away from sugar as much as possible (harder over Christmas as I'm spending 3 days /Christmas eve to boxing day/ at my nans and she ALWAYS feeds us sugar)
Always carry some form of sugar on you in case of hypoglycemic shock (I carry mints or some form of hardboiled sweet)
Uses sauces as little as possible (and gravys) but if you do have sauce use ketchup (lowest cals)
Use sea salt seaweed thins for a meal(22cals per pack) also they're gross so curb my appetite
Don't eat something you don't already know the calories of / aren't in a situation you can look it up
Use the lipsmacker donut sprinkles (I think that's the name) it's extremely strong scented and curbs my sugar cravings.
Try to always eat at the table or don't watch the tv if your in the living room (tv can distract you from feeling full)
Convince yourself your full before you finish eating, even if your hungry
If i have to eat a sandwich/wrap I have to tear it apart as it wastes time between bites = feeling full quicker
At least 15 hour fast everyday (23 usual as I only eat dinner most days)
Bounce leg whenever I'm sitting down
Try to workout even if it's only a few crunches (working out is not my thing i absolutely hate it)
1 meal a day > 2meals >>>> 3 meals
Never eat 3 meals in one day
Stop eating before you feel full or as you feel full
Carbonated drinks will make you bloated but will fill you up (keep to max 2 a week try to only have 0-1 though)
No more than 3 cups of coffee a day
Minimize amount of milk in coffee every day until you can stand having it black
Only use sweetness never use sugar
Try In pe since it's the only ACTUAL excersize I'll probably do
Burn at least 300 cals a day from walking
5000 steps absolute minimum(I don't live close to much so walking into town or meeting friends isn't an option on weekends/ holidays)
Use ANYTHING available to distract from food
These rules are for me only, I'm not pro anything and I hope those if you thinking about recovery, recover, because you are all deserving of health 💕💕
