her dead name is aaron emery rosenthal, the child of prominent hollywood producers that were too busy to give their kids any affection
she was whisked away to boarding school as soon as they could ship her off, and before that she only remembers being raised by nannies
she does have a slightly younger brother ( they're only 14 months apart ) that went to the same all-boys boarding school she did
going to a catholic all-boys boarding school in england as a trans child isn't exactly a picnic tho ! shocking i know !
she mostly kept to herself but was, regardless, bullied quite violently by her peers until the end of high school
she came out as trans to her parents the day she graduated and they were kinda shocked bc they just thought their child was a gay man ( so did she but oh well ). working in the arts had exposed them to people more like aria so they were supportive in their own kinda distant way
which means they paid for her transition but never called to see how she was doing. at first she resented them for it, but then she didn't anymore
she has a fine arts degree from some fancy ivy league school, which means yeah she's talented as fuck but her parents def pulled some strings
college was basically her first happy years of her life. she was slowly coming into a body she felt comfortable in, was surrounded by like-minded people and became involved in activism

it was also in college where she met aliza, the love of her life and future wife !
after university she started showcasing her art in fancy galleries all around the us, and then all around the globe ( you know how we have faceclaims, some characters have voice claims etc ? well her art claim is ines longevial )
her paintings started selling for a shit ton of money ! holy heck ! which meant she could afford to be tHAT artist that never shows up to their own exhibitions and just move to elmerton with aliza and start the domestic ass life she always wanted
and things were going in the kinda perfect pace for years. they had three amazing children, they loved each other, aria was able to paint and have it sell for a year's salary to hang in some dirty capitalist's living room
but then new artists started gaining recognition and she became gradually obsolete. her works sold for less and less, she was being rejected from galleries she had worked with multiple times. people told her she lost her touch, she was too domestic, too settled, too much of the same thing
she was raised to believe a successful career was all of your self worth, so she went into a kind of existential crisis. she stopped painting, started fighting with aliza, lost her passion for life
after her divorce, all she has left are her kids and the councilwoman position ( even though she prefers to be referred to as councilperson ). she's kind of a pain in the ass in local politics
but as annoying as her commie attitude is, she fights the good fight. she fights for teachers and health professionals, for unions, for rehabilitation programmes, for the arts, for the environment, etc
as of now painting is sort of in the back burner and it's still a sore subject for her

if she was a sim her traits would be romantic, outgoing and snob
she is the child of wealthy brazilian parents that immigrated to the us in the early seventies due to the military dictatorship. she is the third of four girls and the first to be born in us land
she was actually born in miami but her family moved to elmerton when she was a newborn baby
whilst her two older sisters were more business savvy and wanted to be involved in the family business ( originally it was wands but i never played with her in a non-hp rp ? so i don't really know what it is now akjakjl ), clara and her younger sister followed in the footsteps of her mother
which meant they like parties, fashion and all kinda all about appearances
and that's the way clara was for a really long time. she was extremely pretty and popular in high school which made it a easy as ride for her. she had all the boys wrapped around her little finger and all the girls doing anything to get into her good graces
she was never a cheerleader but she was class president. she's a surprisingly good mediator and an even better leader
after high school she graduated in marketing from florida state, but it was never something she was passionate about
clara moved back to elmerton soon after graduation because her mother was ill. she passed away years later, and her dad passed two days after
her parents truly loved each other and her biggest goal in life was to find someone to love her in the same way
clara's older sisters took hold of the family business, and clara became a marketing consultant from their miami office. it was mostly just a title. she didn't have any passion towards her job
so she started focusing on finding prince charming, which was also a huge disappointment. turning to one night stands and flings became her acceptance of failure
but then sofia was born and she basically found her purpose in life. her one true love wasn't a man, it was her baby girl
her blog ( name is a wip ) started out was a way for her to showcase just how well she was doing in life but it became a fantastic community for single mothers !
she's great at giving advice and is a really good listener despite how selfish she seems
