[Yosuke’s character arc in Persona 4 was beautiful and it still makes me cry a bit everytime I play the game.]

[I’ve completely abandoned Homestuck after a rather rude confrontation with some other VAs I worked with on one of the many homestuck singing blogs due to me having a lot of hetero ships. It kinda blew up across tumblr and I just said “eff this” and haven’t gone back]

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)

[Takuma and his grandfather actually somewhat got along with each other after he started living with him. Their relationship went to ruins when Kaname came to live with them, as Asato was more interested in winning the pureblood over than showing affection to his grandson. This caused Takuma to only see his tough and aggressive side, resulting in him adopting a more rebellious attitude towards the older Ichijo.]

Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)

[All the background characters deserved at least quadruple the development they actually received in the manga. Like, the love triangle was good, but it was beaten like a dead horse sometimes. But I blame Persona for making me always want everyone to have strong character development.]

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

[Honestly, the Fire Emblem fandom and the Homestuck fandom. The Fire Emblem fandom on here is super elitist about those who played the older games and I honestly have been avoiding my multimuse account because of it. Which is sad cause I love my Jhin muse on there (that awkward moment when the LOL fandom is less toxic than other fandoms). And Homestuck is... Homestuck.]

[I didn’t realize how big the Steven Universe fandom was until Tumblr tbh. Don’t follow it though.]

[Chrom’s arc in FE13 is great. Suddenly becoming the next Exalt in the middle of a war... I liked how they handled it.]

[Severa/Selena from Fire Emblem: Cordelia was a horrible mother to her in her original timeline and gdi no one taught her how to deal with her feelings and emotions properly! WHERE IS HER MOM FRIEND!?!?!?

Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4: Her entire social link was kind of an inspiration to me during a kinda dark time in my life. Also is bae.

Jhin from League of Legends: One of my favorite champions in the game, and I absolutely am entranced by his psychotic nature and addiction to art and death. He’s such an intriguing character and bless.]

“5 Times the Love” [I'm probably too late for this, aren't I?]

1.

He had been so absorbed with his manga that the young vampire practically screamed when a magazine was suddenly shoved into his face. “This is Senri Shiki,” Ichio’s voice boomed in the quiet library. “His family is very prominent in the Senate, and it would behoove us to continue to maintain our relationship with their family into the next generation. You will accompany me tomorrow when I visit them on business. Try to get along with him.

The young vampire heard very little of what his grandfather had said as he was now flipping through the fashion magazine, entranced by one particular model. Cerulean hues stared intensely at the camera, framed by shiny orange hair.  

The old man rambled on, yet Takuma wanted to look at more pictures of the enchanting doll-like female.

Excitedly, the blond rushed out of his new dorm room and headed downstairs when he heard the main entrance open. Surely THIS time it had to be Senri who arrived. He bounded down the stairs, cheering the name of his friend-

Only to be greeted by a lady. A very familiar woman.

“Hey, aren’t you that model that works with Senri?” All she gave was a nod, most likely surprised by his eccentric nature. “I’m Takuma Ichijo! It’s nice to actually meet you! I’m a good friend of Senri’s; you probably heard of me. We’re going to be great friends!” 

Taking her bags before she could protest, he dragged her around and gave her a tour of the dorm before introducing her to her roommate, Ruka. He noted how much she was like her silent co-worker. They’d get along nicely.

He checked on the two once Senri was free of Rido. He promised to help Kaname spread the word of his plan to get rid of the other pureblood with the rest of the Night Class. Rima was still waiting for the other to wake up when he went to them.

He told her everything that he had been asked to before starting to head out the door. He paused before leaving, turning to look at the girl who had been such a dear friend while they were at the academy. Takuma knew what he needed to do, and that he wouldn’t be coming back if everything went his way.

“Rima?”  Blue met green in that moment, and his heart churned knowing this might be his last chance to tell her. 

“You know you’re one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had, right? Don’t change.”

He left on that note, and that was when he truly realized how much he valued their friendship.

4.

The worry in her eyes was obvious, but he could do nothing to truly convince her that things would be fine. Not while Sara Shirabuki had complete control over him. He was lost in himself.

All Sara wanted was control of his influence in the world as an Ichijo. He was a tool. Disposable. Worthless.

At least Rima still cared about him after everything.

She wanted him to be okay.

5.

He poured tea for all of them like he used to so long ago. Things felt almost like they used to, except now Takuma was truly free to live as he wished. He passed the cups to everyone in the sitting room. The last one he served was her.

“Here you go, Rima-chan!” He handed the cup to her, giving her a smile. It may not have shone as bright as his smiles once did, but is was genuine for the first time in awhile.

“I’m glad you’re back,” she said. He froze for a moment, surprised to hear her say that so suddenly. Her eyes were filled with sincerity, a trait he was fond of in the model.

“I’m glad to be back.”

“I just had a few errands to run,” he explained. “A couple things to drop off for a friend and making some reservations for some new books coming out in a few weeks at the bookstore. Just having some fun.”

  The man gave the woman a sad, apologetic smile. “Forgive me for being gone for so long, Ai-san. There were some… things that I wanted to know. I needed some closure on some things from the past.” Not wanting to depress the pureblood, Takuma brightened his smile. “Sadly, I couldn’t find the answers here and had to travel a lot to figure everything out.”

Supposedly such matter had to be forgotten as soon as possible. ❝Well, while you were away I collected some new mangas for you.❞ A kind gesture that’d certainly make him very happy. @roseteawithblood

     "I'll try to let you know if I have to leave again anytime soon," he promised. The last thing he wanted to do was worry the pureblood too much. “That was very kind of you,” he smiled. “I haven’t had a chance to read any since I left. I must be behind on so many series.”

     "No problem.“ The male took a sip of his own tea as he listened to the woman make her order. Good taste, he thought. Having made the cafe a regular hot spot of his, he had practically narrowed down what was worth ordering at the location.

     His eyes drifted to the window, where they were greeted by the pitter patter of raindrops on the glass. “No kidding! They said it was going to be a light drizzle at most, not a flood!”

     He turned his attention back to the woman as she introduced herself. “It’s very nice to meet you, Kaoru-san. I’m Takuma Ichijo.”

     For the first time since she showed up at his table, the vampire actually paid attention to her appearance. It occurred to him that she was around his age. Could she be from the Day Class?

     “This might be randon, but by any chance, are you a student at Cross Academy?”

— {˙ღƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒღ˙} —— “Nice to meet you too, Ichijou-san… ah, yes, I am,” she says with a nod, lowering the damp towel onto her lap to give back to the waitress once she returns.

         ˙ The question makes her consider that he might attend Cross Academy too, and that’s when it hits her; why he’d looked so familiar: even though she hadn’t attended class exchange more than once, when her excited friends had spiked her curiousity even though she’d slowly gotten bored with simply watching people walk by, there is honestly no avoiding the pictures of the beautiful night class.

         ˙ In fact, she’s fairly sure one of her friends has a picture of this particular person in her binder, right next to pictures of celebrities such as Channing Tatum and Johnny Depp.

         ˙ “You’re from the… night class, right…?” She asks, slightly unsure, before she smiles. “It must be hard, studying so late,”

     It was to be expected that she would figure it out so quickly. While she didn't seem like the kind of girl that would watch his class leave their dorms every evening, the gawking girls at the cafe gave it away. Par for the course, he assumed.

     “Indeed I am,” he responded, taking another sip of his tea while he searched for an answer to her next question.

     “It is what it is.” A pleasant smile. “But it’s not so bad. I technically get to sleep in every morning, not to mention the uniform color looks great on me,” he joked.

     “It’s not impossible if you put your mind to it.” He raised his cup to his lips and finished it.

All she had done was ask the other if he knew where Kaname was, Eiri was going to be late to the dance and asked her to tell him. Somehow Takuma’s fangirls had seen this as a threat and Kaname’s had ears she was asking about him and they were all now staring her down.

“Did you think I meant walk calmly? No, I meant wait for my friend to distract them and then crawl through the crowd so they can’t see us. Oh hey look at that cute boy! Doesn’t he look like Kaname!?”

As she yelled the last part she pointed in the direction of her friend Caleb, who was seemingly minding his own business over at a snack bar. Her yell seemed to get his attention as the girls turned towards him and Kayla grabbed Takuma’s arm and pulled him down and started towards the exit. She made a mental note to apologize to Caleb later.

     Sometimes, the vampire wondered if things would be easier if the human girls at the academy weren't so enthusiastic about him and his classmates. Even the blond felt uncomfortable under the greedy and envious stares in the direction of the two of them. Even Ruka wasn’t this bad when she was feeling possessive of the pureblood...

     “Ah!” He yelped as he was pulled down. He hadn’t expected the brunette to activate her plan so quickly. A second later, he reoriented himself enough to realize that he should probably follow if he wanted to get out of there.

     “You know where we’re going, right?” With so many people, it was much more difficult to navigate as he could no longer look over anyone’s heads anymore.

—{✧ ♗ ✧}— “Please, just Daemon, such formalities are not required.” He states as he walks to the headmasters desk, leaning down, taking out  pen of his own and signed his name as needed. Turning his attention to Takuma,”Help is appreciated but it’s only two bags.”

He’s not really happy to be here, but his father has requested he attend to try and get closer to his cousins that attend. 

     The blond nodded in response to the other's request. "Whatever you'd like, Daemon!" He opened the door for the other while grabbing both of his bags.

     "I'll show you to the dorm that you'll be staying at. Dorm President Kuran will welcome you later when he gets out of class."

Maroon eyes froze, every muscle within the Purebloods body seemed to freeze as he noticed the figure standing in the doorway. Almost at a loss for words on what to say to the other, Kaname dipped his head, aknowledging him but also wary.

They hadn’t left on friendly terms.

Keeping Takuma in his peripheral at the least, Kaname stood from his position, not bothering to smooth the front of his suit. “Ichijo, what brings you?”

     He knew he had no right to come to the pureblood after everything he had done in the name of Sara, but he felt compelled to. He had spent so much of his life with the brunet at his side, growing up with the man and being his loyal companion. Yet that was a time long ago that seemed so distant to Takuma since he fell into that woman’s clutches.

     “Because...” He hesitated, lowering his eyes in the intimidating presence of Kaname. “Because I needed to apologize to you for everything.”

  There were so many questions swimming through her mind at that very moment seeing one of her closest friends aside from Shiki who had been missing for quite some time. He had just simply vanished without a trace or anything to at least let her or Shiki know all was fine. They had thought something happened but to find him here at Kaname-sama’s home was suspicious.

   ❝ What does that mean exactly here and there? What happened to you? You know Shiki was concerned for you but so was I. You just…completely disappeared. ❝ Rima had to let him know he was in her thoughts but Shiki’s as well. Ichijo-san was someone they looked up to and probably the one person who they were closest too among the other aristocrats. ❝ Sure, I’d love to join you. You just…surprise is all that you’d end up here of all places. ❝

     He knew his vague answers wouldn't work for long against the younger woman. Too bright and curious, his old friend would probe until she got the answers she wanted. Leading Rima to the sitting room, a tray with a tea set sat on the surface. It was always prepared in case anyone ever showed up to join him, which tended to be the Kurans or Zero in rare cases. The blond sat and motioned to the model to sit across from him as he poured a cup for them both.

     “I’m sorry I worried you both.” A tinge of sadness hung in his tone. Worrying the two had never been something he wanted to do intentionally, yet it couldn’t be helped with everything that had happened. “When even was the last time I saw you?” Everything seemed like such a distant memory, a blessing that gave him time to stall to gather his thoughts and explain the truth to her.

         ˙ “Chamilia tea and a slice of lemon pie, please,” she orders, starting to dry her hands, then her face as the waitress hurries off again, moving effortlessly through the crowded cafe.

         ˙ “I didn’t think that this would happen, when the weather report said there would be a ‘little rain’,” she says, glancing at the blonde opposite her as she dabs her neck dry with the damp towel, then proceeds to the ends of her dripping hair. “Ah… I’m Hikari, by the way. Hikari Kaoru. Nice to meet you,”
