Rosetta Fleur is based on Rosetta from Disney Fairies. She is a 27 year old fairy, florist, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of geokinesis, plant control and flight. Rosetta is portrayed by Madelaine Petsch.
if there was ever a thing to know about rosetta was that she hates mud and she knows the irony in it. that doesn’t mean she didn’t get her hands dirty, she just wore gloves like her life depended on it. and takes a lot of showers. she likes to smell life fresh flowers not the soil of the earth. she also really hates bugs and really anything that can get her messy.
she loves pixie hollow, do not get her wrong! but evermore is....well, it’s amazing. she loves it so much. she likes that she can just spring flowers up from nothing and go on with her day. she likes that she can try out a bunch of human activities without fear or judgement. most importantly, there was beauty pageants.
beauty pageants were everything rosetta liked about being a feminine being. the competition, the attention, the dressing up in big dresses and bold makeup; she loves it so much that she could be on that stage forever. she always had a theatrical side to her and now that she can show it off she never ever wants to go back.
naturally, every time she really starts enjoying herself she finds herself feeling extremely guilty. she knows she has a duty to pixie hollow and her home, but gosh, does she just wish she could know that pixie hollow was okay and that her being in evermore was okay too. that is the dream.
rosetta has always been a bit boy crazy but in evermore it has just gotten worse. she is attracted to everything she shouldn’t be, but her biggest weakness? musicians. ever since she discovered boybands she has felt like it all makes sense. she wants a nice, kinda muscley, musician man. at least that is the dream guy! she still keeps her options open! and not even just to boys! honestly she is just a huge flirt.
rosetta can have a bit of a temper, but she tries her best to keep her emotions in check. she only swears when she is really upset and even then it is hard to bring her there. she knows that she is the rational fairy at times and she takes that seriously. she really believes in manners and it drives her crazy when she is around those with none.
she loves nothing more than playing around with makeup. she loves, loves, loves it when her fellow fairies let her do their makeup and she is constantly trying out new things with her makeup, despite wearing the same look most of the time.
she can be a bit judgmental sometimes. she tries really hard not to be and would like to think her friends helped her get past a lot of it but every now and then it happens.
rosetta is not athletic at all. not even a little bit. she gets hurt any time she tries and therefore she no longer tries. she can’t even do a morning jog without almost falling flat on her face.
she is an awful cook. she can hardly make meals for herself and has to eat out more than she likes to admit. everything she puts to the stove burns. there goes the dreams of being a housewife to some pretty boy.
she never leaves her home without looking amazing. her nails are always done, her hair is always perfect, her makeup is on point, and her shoes are to die for. the only way to really know rosetta is upset is if her perfect appearance is slightly off.
she doesn’t hate animals but she is skittish around them. she just doesn’t like when they get all dirty. and she normally won’t hold any kind of pet or creature unless fawn makes her.
her perfume collection is very large. she falls in love with scents easily and is always switching it up when she gets bored.
despite sounding like the last person who love plants, she really does and will get super nerdy whenever she talks about her babies. they are her babies, babies get messy sometimes, and she has gloves so that she can give them all the love she has in her body.
she loves social media, but she hardly understands it. most of the time she has to ask for help when it comes to her phone. it is so embarrassing, but she really wants to understand it!
all in all, rosetta does her best to embody and create beauty.
