Eula thinks he’s the son of a Noble whose taken to becoming a bard to rebel against them

Lisa thinks he’s a eccentric academica student who decided to go to mondstadt to learn more and live a peaceful life

Rosaria thinks he’s part of a underground group of bards who fight tyrants through song

Klee think venti is some sort of witch who her mom called to keep her company while she is away

Albedo thinks venti is some sort of anemo lab creation who has set out onto the world to find the meaning of their existence

Fischl thinks that venti had read the tales of yore, inspired by the bards of the past has taken to act like them

Razor thinks venti is a boy who was raised by wind spirits

Barbara thinks that venti is part of a sect of barbatos worship who shows their devotion thought song and impersonation

Mona thinks venti is a powerful anemo welder who has come to mondstadt to become more powerful but instead has become distracted by drinks

Amber thinks venti is a traveler running away from something dark and has found refuge in mondstadt like collei did

All of them feel like they have got venti figured out but don’t say anything to venti because it’s clear he wants to keep his secrets

The whole time Jean hears these rumors in horror, diluc doesn’t know how he didn’t figure it out sooner, and venti laughs into himself because this is the second time he’s pull this off

Venti is a walking piece of cultural heritage

He dresses in a historical way, He sings traditional songs, probably uses ancient lyre techniques, and speaks like decarabian is still in power.

He probabaly has to go to local artisans to get repairs on his lyre or clothes because the techniques used to make them have long fallen out of fashion

I have a personal hc that Lisa will come to venti to get him to play ancient songs just to hear how they would have sounded

He once walked into angels tavern to ask for a drink that hasn’t been served since the archon war. The next windblume he was instrumental in helping diluc bring said recipe back for the time being

He is actually the only person left alive that can speak old mondstadtian however due to the residents wishes to have that language, just like their king, be forgotten to time he doesn’t use it much. But as a “I’m sorry for breaking the holy lyre” gift he’s translating some old hymns for Barbara

He currently helping to teach Eula old hunting techniques used by her ancestors because she wants to return to what the Lawrence clan had done for mondstadt, protect and caring for them

Jean will some times go to venti to ask what vennessa or her ancestor would have done in certain situations to which he responds with some sort of advice about trusting her own judgement

He is a walking history book that has to be taken with a grain of salt. You don’t need a tour guide to learn the history of mondstadt you just need a venti.
