Many people told us that "Motherly Vibes" is an intensely relatable comic, and not only to transgender women. Many of us internalized that our value as a human being, at least partially, depends on the ability to have children. And that means we are bound to have very difficult feelings - of loss, of grief, of anger and frustration - and, perhaps, worthlessness.

If we had more support on Patreon, we could actually post more than two new chapters a year. That would've been awesome, right?

Roseum used to be a team of over ten artists working on multiple related projects. For example, this is a few panels of our manga called "That day I saw her smiling" (art by yura). Back in 2021 we were working on a large video game that featured a lot of psychology and philosophy (and a very queer cast). The characters and their backstories enticed us, so they spawned a few spin-offs. One of those, "That day I saw her smiling", tried to explore emotional challenges of misfit teenagers. We have the whole script complete, but only 20 or so pages done - and it seems like it is in a forever hiatus. What a shame...

That Day I Heard My Heart Breaking, is a yuri comic about a girl who is too rational to speak about her feelings and a girl who is too emotional to act rationally. We are 75% done with the art and really hoped to complete the comic (and re-release it with edits) by the end of the year, but it seems it will take more than that. The artist is working full-time and has no energy to draw. Adult life sucks sometimes.
