āThis dog just appeared out of nowhere and followed us for an entire week during our trekking trip in the Himalayan outbackā¦When I decided to get up at 4 a.m. to climb the next 5000 m peakā¦he accompanied me as well. On the top he was sitting for the entire 30 minutes on this placeā

Cattle become luminescent, mythical beasts in Anne Lambās photographs. For her āBeefacakesā and āCattleizeā series, the New York-based photographer gets up close and personal with enormous farm animals, even inviting a nude, human model to cavort with them like in the Greek myth of Zeus and Europa. Lamb uses an assortment of colorful lights and filters, creating a chiaroscuro effect that makes the animals appear even more powerful than they are already.
Check out some of her recent work on Hi-Fructose.
