Endometriosis key facts from the WHO website acknowledge that endometriosis can grow outside of the reproductive system, yet any "cure" or "research" is always solely focused on the uterus and its surroundings. One person in my support group has scars IN THEIR LUNGS.

Every excision/laser/shaving surgery I've had were focused on my uterus and ovaries, and they couldn't explain why oh why I'm still in so much pain.

My bowels are diseased with the scarring tissues, but "they can't remove them safely". They just found out my appendix is covered and surrounded with scars, but "there's nothing they can do at present" to help with the pain.

AFAB healthcare is a complete joke.
