that feeling when your birthday is in a few days and you're just not into it
january so far
For the past two weeks, I’ve been fighting with the reality of having no job, and honestly, it's been a struggle. While I’ve heard people talk about how difficult the job search can be, I never truly understood the weight of it until now. The frustration, the uncertainty, and the feeling of being stuck — they all feel so overwhelming, and I’ve realized it’s more than just not having work to do; it’s an emotional rollercoaster.
At first, I was optimistic. The first few days of unemployment felt like a break. I thought, "This is the time to reset and refresh!"
But then, as the days passed, the initial excitement turned into frustration. I started questioning myself and my abilities. The fear of not being enough started to crawl under my skin, quietly whispering doubts into my mind, making everything feel like a confirmation of my shortcomings. With every passing day, the weight of uncertainty began to sink in deeper. I was no longer filled with optimism. I was becoming anxious and unsure. Juno helped me keep my sanity. His presence was calm, like an anchor in a storm. When I finally spoke, I told him I was scared — scared that I wasn't good enough, that I was failing, that I might never find a job. He always find small ways to lift my spirits. Do things together like going to the grocery to get ingredients I need, to cook the meal I only saw on Tiktok or watching our newly discovered shows on Netflix. He’d bring me coffee in the morning, as if to remind me that there were still little joys in the day, even if everything else felt uncertain. I'm lucky to have a boyfriend like him. As the days went on, I started to feel a little lighter.
life update:
I wish, I didn't care about anything. But I do care, I care about everything too much. Too much that I, sometimes forget things that really matter.
Existential Crisis
Perhaps that's what I should call it. Recently, a friend asked me what my plans are after knowing that my family has migrated to the US and I’m the only one left in the Philippines. Out of the blue, she asked, "What’s your plan?" And I honestly couldn't answer, maybe because I really don't know. I’ve been so focused on compensating for the time I feel I've missed.—doing what I want, buying what I want, living without regrets—that I forgot to think about the future. I was so absorbed in satisfying my current desires and making up for past experiences that I neglected to think about what the future holds.
Right now, I’m simply enjoying the present. I’m not dwelling on what my life will be like in 5-10 years. For me, the priority is my current happiness—being content with what I have and the people I’ve encountered.
Yet, sometimes I find myself questioning what I truly want for my life.
Your guy just found his new love. Freediving is one of the things I have listed on my bucket list. Glad that I can finally cross that out and enjoy the life underwater.
Quick life update, I'm back in Dasma. 2023 has been the worst, at least for me. Super daming nangyaring unexpected that ruined everything I planned. I don't want to dig deep into the details but I'm glad to be back in my hometown.
Although, hassle sa byahe since I work somewhere north and I have to commute everyday but at least I can say that I'm in a better place now. With my family. I'm happy.
Ilan taon din akong naging independent and now maybe it's time to admit that it's better to be with the people that truly care for you. So, now ayun tinitiis ang pagod sa byahe everyday pero masayang umuuwi kasi may mga pamangkin na sumasalubong sakin para ipakita yung mga ginawa nila sa school and of course si Andy din. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
don’t forget the life you promised yourself
you deserve to be loved the way you love others. you deserve to feel seen. you deserve to sleep beside someone who does not try to quiet your heartbeat, or your passion, or the way you show up in this world. you deserve to be with someone who loves all of your twists and does not try to untie them. someone who does not hold your past against you. you deserve to be chosen and to never be loved in half. you deserve someone who is sure of you; you deserve someone who stays.
ykw sometimes i get this feeling of tiredness and exhaustion even after a long day of sleep or rest. prolly people around me may think this isn't real bec of the fact that im not the type of person who will be this vulnerable in front of many. but its acting up a lil often. im trying to be as energetic as i used to be or the usual rosler that everyone knows but when im with myself, i tend to get so lonely. im a bit of denial at first, saying maybe i was just bored or maybe just need to have fun a bit more or go out. then i realized that something is wrong with me when i started starving myself everytime i think i did something wrong. as a punishment i would starve myself and sleep all day. and i know its not okay but i can't help it so im sorry
if there's one thing that i've learned this yr that'll be to stop entertaining people just bec u don't want them to feel bad or unwanted. u have to protect your own people first. people that matters to you the most. people whom you're afraid to lose. people you love and cared abt. that's how i lost him
things i never said to myself
you're doing great. have you looked at what you've accomplished? sometimes, things may not go your way and there are voices you'll hear along the way but you are actually doing great. the way you handle situation now is way different from the way you handle things before. i am so proud of you always know that there are people that are happy that you're part of their lives so please don't be so hard on yourself.

Hmm. Im doing good naman, sa work. Hahahaha okay na yan kahit sa work lang at least may improvement hahaha
You deserve the patience u give to so many others
celebrating small wins with my team
