although I have always been perpetually sullen, I always thought the concept of mental breakdowns were melodramatic (sorry). exact I had one (am still in one?) for the last year straight and managed to set fire to everything good thing in my life like a little self sabotaging pyro. despair is much eerier than I pictured. it's like a vacuum completely devoid of sound and air. I still have two or three months to put myself out of my misery.

you know it's just occurred to me (it's almost 5am, and I am up, still writing) that in the summers I spend in either countryside spain or countryside england you see the stars all night for as long as you wish to look at them.

but anything even close to remotely populated with people there's nothing to look at, at all.
