🧤 Documenting the forgotten, the abandoned, and the biologically hellish.
What is a Putricore Event?
A Putricore Event is a rare environmental catastrophe in which a commercial food facility is abruptly abandoned while still stocked with perishable goods.
Without power or removal, these sites undergo mass-scale decomposition, often becoming hazmat-level disaster zones.
These are not common. Only three confirmed events have occurred:
🛒 Mexia Supermarket (Fort Worth, TX - 1999)
🐟 Seafood City (University City, MO - 2022)
🥩 Bavarian Meat (North Bay, ON - 2022)
Each site became a living grave, infested with insects, drenched in rot, and buried under bureaucracy and silence.
This archive exists to log them all; factually, viscerally, respectfully.
💬 Asks and DMs are open.
If you see something, say something.
This is an archive. If you know of, or suspect; a Putricore Event, I’ll research it. Thoroughly.
Because this isn’t just about rot.
It’s about waste, neglect, and the communities that suffer because someone walked away and left food to fester.
These events are expensive. They’re dangerous. And they’re erased.
The world deserves to know they happened.
And I care enough to make sure it does.
