“No, I…” Fuck what do I need? A fucking time machine, someone to sweet talk the professor. “...need help.” He sucks in a steadying breath, running his hand through his hair, “Academically, that is. Pete, I’ve fucked up royally and I don’t know what to do.”

Mongrel Minds Discarded Scene

SO this is a discarded scene from Mongrel Minds, it is smutty so read on with that in mind.

Can you guess which chapter it's from?

He imagines it would be quick, hurried. Remus’s hands on him, dragging Sirius to a dark corner, a bar bathroom, somewhere semi private. The rush of it all, the feel of Remus pressed against him and he’s already getting hard at the thought. 

I like manners…It sounded so husky when he said it on the phone, made Sirius blush and his mind drift. Would he make Sirius beg? Take control so he just wouldn’t have to think. 

Sirius thinks he would…

“Please Remus.” Sirius says it with a hint of a whine and the smile that spreads across Remus’s face causes his heart to stutter. Need knots into his stomach as Remus continues to just look at him. He says it again, a little more forcefully but still with that whine at the end. 

Sirius kisses him, hard, gripping the belt loops of his pants and pulling him in, hands under his shirt and they’re stumbling through the door. None of this matters, nothing is real. But even in his own fantasy, he feels the guilt that eats at him, gnaws at his bones so deeply there’s nothing but marrow left. 

He throws it out, the guilt that has been festering within him, and lets himself enjoy it. After all, this is what he’s been after, what he’s been chasing. The comfort in the roughness, the idea of the sharp edges of Remus’s fingernails digging into his skin.

So he lets go, he accepts the fantasy, just this once. 

Remus has his hand on Sirius’s low back and it’s aching, fingers curling into a fist and he just wants Remus to take. 

They’re in a grubby club bathroom. Cinterblock walls covered in old posters and graffiti, a pounding beat, too far away to be discernible. Lights dim, half of them dead casting awkward shadows on the walls. 

Sirius has his mouth against Remus’s, noses brushing, teeth clashing. Remus kicks the door closed, pressing Sirius against it momentarily to lock it. Their hands are grasping, tugging at fabric, pulling at anything they can grab and it’s fevered. 

Sirius is backed against the sink, porcelain cold against where his shirt has ridden up. He’s been here before, in a similar situation but the hands were different, not as commanding, not as familiar. 

It’s comforting, the way Remus explores, with his mouth, his hands, his tongue. Tasting, touching, ravishing everything within his sights, like he knows what Sirius wants. Like he wants the same thing, Sirius convinces himself. 

“Look at you.” It’s the first thing Remus says. His voice is gravelly and Sirius can feel it rumble through his chest. He fists his hands tighter in Remus’s shirt. “So desperate.” but he isn’t mocking, on the contrary, Remus is holding back as he lolls Sirius’s head to the side, lips brushing against his ear. “I want to make you beg.” He bites, teeth clicking on the rings in his ear and Sirius all but turns to water under his touch. 

Hands shaking and Remus moves his lips from the shell of his ear to the tender spot just behind. A kiss, gentle under hands that are rough, bruising on his jaw. 

“Will you beg for me?” He slots his knee between Sirius’s legs and his eyes roll back at the contact. 

“Yes.” 

“You gave in so easily.” Sirius can feel Remus’s lips quirk against his skin, can feel his teeth drag, “I thought I’d have to work a little harder to make you beg.” they sink into tender flesh giving in under chapped lips. 

“Oh god—” 

“Are you begging?” 

“Maudit, yes—” Sirius barely recognizes his own voice, the whine to it, the way he’s melting under Remus’s touch. “—I want—” Remus moves his knee, cutting the thought off completely and the word dies in Sirius’s throat. 

“Tell me.” He continues and Sirius meets his gaze as his hips start to move. 

“I want—” 

“No.” It’s forceful, both hands now on Sirius’s hipbones and he halts the movement. “Not what you want, what do you need.”

You. I need you. Your hands, your lips, your cock. I need everything. I need you to fix me, to ground me. To fuck me.    

His hands leave Sirius’s waist to cup his face, to force eye contact. “Tell me.” Remus whispers before kissing him again.

Sirius is the first to pull away in a gasp, “I need you.” 

A full blown smile, crooked tooth and deep line showing, Remus’s thumb sweeps over Sirius’s cheek. “That’s a good start, now tell me what you need me to do to you.” His lips hover and Sirius is scrambling. 

“I need you to fuck me.” He’s lifting, wrapping his leg around Remus’s waist and arms around his neck, trying to grind harder. Chasing his lips, Sirius kisses him like he needs to convince Remus of what he wants. It turns tender, a little soft as his lips part and Remus’s tongue presses against his own. 

Sirius pulls away, panting, his hands reach between them as he tugs at Remus’s belt and he almost gets it undone, but he’s fumbling, fingers struggling with the buckle.   

“You want me to fuck you right here?” Sirius is nodding forcefully, “What if I blew you instead hmm? Wouldn’t that be enough for you?” Remus moves his knee earning a groan and Sirius swears he can see stars. For the briefest moment he thinks about giving in, accepting this, and it would be fine. But he wants more. 

Sirius shakes his head, “No—” he says it through his teeth, buckle finally coming undone, button and fly following but Remus stills Sirius’s hands before they can get any further. “—No, I want—” he closes his eyes, swallowing, correcting “—I need—”

Remus’s hand knots into Sirius’s hair, tugging his head back and exposing the column of his throat. He kisses the junction where his shoulder meets his neck. 

Pulling back, Remus asks again, “What do you need, baby?” His mouth is back on Sirius’s skin, hot and wet, he groans.

“You, please, I need you…” Sirius chokes out and Remus lets go of his hair. He’s wearing a predatory grin, a wolf with a rabbit in his mouth. “Please, I need you inside of me.” 

Remus finally pushes their hips together and it feels like a reward, the friction sending sparks through Sirius’s whole body. He shudders, letting out a strangled little groan that almost doesn’t make it through his teeth.

“Look at you…being such a good boy.” Remus is trailing his hand down Sirius’s chest, letting it rest on his belt for a second. “I’m going to make you grovel.” he says, leaning in and his breath is hot against Sirius’s ear, voice rumbling through his chest and he relishes in the feel. The rise and fall of his hurried breathing, Remus’s cords starting to slip below his hips as they move in tandem. 

Remus makes quick work of Sirius’s belt, shoving his pants down and the sink is cold against his newly exposed skin. His hands are rough as he tugs, gripping Sirius, pulling him closer, pressing them together. 

His hands slide down to the backs of Sirius’s thighs and he lifts. Long fingers gripping before depositing him onto the counter. For the briefest of moments there was some friction and Sirius moaned when his cock brushed against Remus’s shirt. 

And then it’s all happening at once. Remus explores, hands first followed by his mouth and Sirius grips the edge of the sink, leaning back. He hovers for a second, tongue darting out, getting the tip wet before Remus takes the whole thing in his mouth. 

Sirius’s head slams back against the mirror, not expecting the heat and he lets out a gasp. He gathers himself for a second, hand tangling in Remus’s hair and he gives it a tug to meet his eye. 

“Please,” and he closes his eyes, letting them roll back as Remus does it again. Swallowing him down, the flat of his tongue taking him in from bottom to top. “More…I need more…” 

Remus is standing to his full height, repositioning Sirius on the edge of the sink, “You’re so pretty when you say please.” one hand on his hip and the other coming to his mouth. His touch is desperate, manic, but his words are calm. Remus takes his fingers in his mouth, and Sirius knows what will happen next. 

The pressure and glide of Remus’s finger causes a sob to fall. His neck throbs from where Remus bit him, teeth sharp enough to puncture but he chose to bruise instead. He’s pumping, agonisingly slow and Sirius is meeting his thrusts. Knees resting on Remus’s hips, his arms wrap around his neck as he balances on the edge. 

It’s the warmth, the heat rolling off of Remus in waves, the way his hands feel on his skin. His jaw clenches, hissing between his teeth.

“Jesus…Câlic—” The words fall from Sirius’s lips ending in a curse as his chest caves forward. Hand gripping the back of his neck, mouth buried into Remus’s shoulder, adding another finger he sucks in his bottom lip. 

“Fuck fuck fuck,” quick succession with a stutter in between, “I need you—” Remus is not letting up, crooking his fingers. “—ostie de crisse—I don’t care, please.” Sirius cries out, voice pitching as he pushes onto Remus’s fingers. 

“So impatient.” He’s smirking, thrusting one more time as deep as he can before pulling out. Sirius lets out a noise, a whimper and Remus is stepping back, the absence so sudden Sirius feels like he’s floating. 

Remus spits into his palm, looking at Sirius and smearing it onto his cock. He steps forward, lining himself up. Sirius’s mouth drops open as Remus begins to push forward, near silent moan caught in his throat. 

“Fuck—” Sirius tosses his head back, eyes squeezing shut, practically seeing stars.

“Eyes on me baby.” It’s a whisper, puff of air against his neck before Remus grabs him by the chin and angles his head down so they’re eye to eye. “You gonna be loud for me?” Before Sirius has a chance to answer Remus is pressing his thumb into his mouth, past his teeth and to his tongue. He takes the chance to thrust deeper, driving himself home and a hiss leaves Sirius’s mouth. 

Remus begins to move and Sirius’s eyes roll, when he brushes the spot that feels like electricity. Tingling through him from head to toe. Remus is keeping him still, hand held fast on his hip as Sirius tries to take him deeper, legs wrapping tighter around his waist. 

He feels it all, every breath, every touch, every minute movement. Sirius opens his mouth, a gentle moan slipping through Remus’s fingers and he’s whispering, saying things into Sirius’s ear. Utter bullshit but his lips are hot, voice gravelly. 

He groans, thrusting deep and saying, “Come on, keep looking at me—” The hand on Sirius’s hip is clawing at his skin, nails digging, “—there you go. See how gorgeous you look, gone like this.” He’s pulled away, looking into his eyes for a second before placing a sloppy kiss to Sirius’s neck. Gentle at first but devolving into something more bruising. 

Remus takes his fingers from Sirius’s mouth, hand slamming against the mirror as he falls forward. Without the barrier, Sirius is left to pant in the open, groaning, meeting Remus’s thrusts. 

“H-harder.” Sirius isn’t looking at him anymore, eyes screwed shut, head thrown back. His hands are fisting Remus’s shirt, ready to tear it off to get at the skin beneath.

“Try again.” Commanding it sends a shiver through his spine as he hits that spot once more, static mounting through him and he can think of nothing but release.  

“P-please.” He’s gasping, just repeating it over and over as Remus picks up the pace. He’s close, has to be, they both have to be. The white noise in the back of his skull is starting to itch but it’s not enough. Right on the edges, skittering through his spine, building up pressure. 

Sirius chokes something out, a string of curses and it’s loud, above the sound of the faraway music. Remus gets a few more thrusts before Sirius is coming undone, hips slamming forward and taking him deeper. He cries out, Remus’s hand slams over his mouth.

“So loud, just for me huh?” He grinds out through clenched teeth, arms holding Sirius up as Remus finally comes. He’s panting in his ear, so close, body warm against him and Sirius just wants to stay, to melt into his touch. 

Instead, he opens his eyes, alone in a bedroom that isn’t fully his. His hand rests loosely around his cock. He feels a wash of embarrassment, the bitter sting of it sinking into his stomach. The fantasy, Sirius’s fantasy, felt so real, so natural. Sirius hates it, loathes it. 

The split second of reprieve he felt, right after coming, is now mounting into guilt. Once again he’s crossed a line, once again he’s fallen into destruction. Sirius grabs a sock from the floor, cleaning himself off and tossing it in the general direction of the hamper.

Sirius can smell the coffee and cigarettes, the hint of fresh linen from his clothes. Remus licks his lips again and inches that little bit closer, just a fraction. Their noses brush, the gentlest of touches.

His hand moves, almost on its own accord, settling onto Remus’s cheek. The scars are different than he expected, softer than they look under the tips of his fingers. Sirius has always thought they looked mean, but they aren’t raised.

Lines of silver against his tawny skin and it dawns on him—he’s never dared to touch Remus like this before. A gentle brush of their knuckles, a bump of shoulders, nothing too prolonged, nothing that could mean more than friends.

This just makes Sirius want more, makes him want to find out what the scars will feel like under his lips. How different will it be?

Remus doesn’t pull away, doesn’t move so Sirius keeps his hand there, steady on his cheek. Sirius swallows, mouth dry, hands starting to feel clammy and Remus is just looking at him, eyes fixed on his. He licks his lips, a slow movement and Sirius closes his eyes, taking a moment before leaning in.
