Random pointless things about my process of making epic boo’qwurm :

With my design , i wanted for the books of boo’qwurm to be something related to biology , as it is something that fascinates me and can fit well in line with boo’qwurm’s character

The books (excluding the drawing on the left , which is merely a placeholder) are designs inspired by the layers of skin in the human body

With the design of the monster itself , i am a big fan of horror / horror elements , so i wanted to make a design which would reflect two of my favorite looking creatures , the Yautja from the Predator movies and the Reaper Leviathan from Subnautica !

Inspirations / reference came from these images (along with a few others , but they are lost or too minuscule to present)

when making epic ffidyll , i knew i wanted to do something fairy like . One day I may apply colors or make a separate drawing , to fully represent the color clashes of the monster and these art pieces .

for now , its just this . lazy but idea representation 👍

i want to make more gijinkas, so i might but i am unsure

so i had an idea for a zombie-design in pvz where it had part of its face blown off via a shotgun, resulting in a large visible hole in its head and having chunks of a rotting brain showing on the inside

i wanted this zombie to appear especially bloody and having the sort of aftermath be visible in that its intact eye is sort of ‘scared’ (or in this case traumatized , mainly physically but some mental trauma too) that makes it especially anxious in terms of behavior ^_^

as for in-game mechanics, i will be honest that i haven’t fully thought of something but:

it is mainly similar to the modern day zombie except it leaves a blood trail which will make plants have slower attacks and be incapable of being placed in bloodied areas

But because thats just a weaker zomboni, i was also thinking that maybe it can also give zombies a false adrenaline-rush due to the sight of its rotting brain being a motivator for the taste brains of the player, making them faster and possibly having them do more damage

again, i haven’t fully thought of something so i apologize if this seems quite dumb, but i tried :p
