Me, Rope, and a Collie
I’ve been struggling to find the best workout for me.
I spend around 3 hours at the gym daily (the struggle is real), but even after months, I still don’t see the results I want.
Yes, I have lost weight (52lbs) and gained muscle (12lbs), but I want to tone my whole body at the same time.
Once my biceps and triceps were toned to my liking, I move on to my core.
During the process of firming my core, I actually developed a nice set of chiseled abs.
I asked my brother, a Marine Corps veteran, for some expert advice and he recommended using battling ropes.
The gym I frequent has a battling ropes area, but I thought it was solely for arm muscles and I was wrong.
There are different moves to target and enhance the muscles of a certain body part.
Using ropes for different sections of the body was amazingly effective and it shows result much faster than regular workout routines.
My Collie Lucky finds the ropes especially interesting.
Once I got the hang of it, I set up a space in my garage so I could workout from home.
Lucky always follows me into the garage to watch, bat at the ropes, and make my workout much more difficult.
Now that all my hard work has paid off, I just had to share it.
If you are currently stuck and are not getting the results you want, you should try battling ropes - it works, just ask Lucky.
