Naughty Nails!
The nail trend has really set off in 2012! I absolutely love all things nails so here are a few of my favourite products!
Nail Rock Foils!
These nail foils are so easy and quick yet look brilliant! Here are a few of my favourite designs!
Tribal Gold
Tattoo
All at £6.65!
Barry M Croc Nail Effects
The crackle effect nail polish was a massive hit, everyone loved it! Now Barry M have gone one step further and come up with a "mock croc" effect. It works just like the crackle one only it creates a uniform mock croc effect! However it does take a little longer to take effect than the shatter effect.
£3.99 at Barry M
17 Candy Collection @ Boots
As you can probably tell pastels are all the range at the moment and I love these cute polishes from 17 at Boots.
£2.99 each!
Impress Manicure from Broadway Nails
I saw these and thought I had to give them a go, after getting them home I started to have doubts thinking they might be hard to apply but in fact they were so easy and look so professional. They are basically false press on nails that have the already polished look. They are great for a night out or for 1-2 days however as I found mine lasted to duration of 1 party. However they do look great when they are on and are also easy to get off!
Estatic Cling
Rock It
£7.99-£8.99 from Boots
I love all of these they just add a little something different to your outfit!
peace out xoxo
Soap & Glory Make Up!
I have been a massive fan of Soap & Glory products for years so when I found out they were releasing a cosmetic range I was over the moon and only had fantastic expectations! I had used their Sexy Motherpucker lip gloss for a while and always ended up using it all within a week and going out to buy more, so when buying some of their make up to try I was so excited!
I thought I would try out the basics first and went for the Kick Ass Concealer, Thick and Fast Mascara and A Great Kisser Lip Balm. Firstly might I say that they most certainly lived up to my expectations!
Kick Ass Concealer
This is most definitely the best concealer I have ever used! Firstly the compact comes with two shades of concealer and both have fantastic coverage! The lighter of the shades is an under eye brightening concealer that instantly covered up the dark shadows under my eye and instantly made my whole face seem brighter and awake! The second of the concealers is for the face and is slightly darker to cover blemishes and spots, again it is fantastic and provides full coverage! A little goes a very long way with the concealer which is always a good thing. Step 3 Is the "Sealing Powder", I had my doubts about the finishing powder but it does in fact make a difference. The powder just gives it that finished airbrushed look and blends everything together. It lasts all day and there is no need to re-apply! However I wouldn't recommend it to an older person or if you have tired out and worn skin as it is quiet heavy and would just sit in wrinkles and pores. The only downside of the product is the price, for a high-street bring it is a little on the more expensive side at £10, however it is defiantly worth it!
Thick & Fast Mascara
I am constantly looking for a bigger and better mascara as my eye lashes are really not my best feature! I was greatly impressed with the Soap & Glory mascara, the brush is about as big as brushes get and it shows when your wearing it! The mascara gave my lashes a lot more thickness than anything which is great and was not clumpy at all! It was great overall and not to bad at £10. However it only available in Superjet Black so isn't really suitable for people with lighter toned lashes/hair.
A Great Kisser Lip Balm
I am a massive fan of all lip products, and this is defiantly in my top 3! I bought the Chocolate Cherry shade and love it! I would describe it as more of a glaze than a balm when its on as it looks so shiny however it feels like a balm when applying it. It made my lips look so healthy and moisturised and is so easy to carry around and quickly apply! For a more natural look go for the two lighter shades, Juicy Peach and Sweet Coconut. It's a bargain as well at only £5!
I absolutley loved the products I bought and will denfinantly be buying more from Soap & Glory cosmetics!
peace out xoxo

Stampa Top- This fine-knit top just reminds me of ice tea and sun! Giving the vibes of a 90's pool party this top is starting a comeback of cool 90's kids clothes. Teamed with vintage shorts and glasses i think this would look great, however I don't see this being a top winter seller. Get your man a matching one to you'll both look fab! Keeping this for next summer wouldn't be a bad idea i have a feeling it's going to be bang on trend!
Womans-£29.99 Mens-49.99
Tailored Shirt- This shirt is so fly I'd marry a man based on the fact he wore this shirt! Absolutely beautifully tailored and a perfect colour, the black isn't to harsh and the gold adds the little bit more without over doing it. Also available in Blue, pink and black and white pattern. Surprisingly good value, it looks as if it cost a bomb.
£29.99
Stampa Jacket- This absolutely has to be my favourite piece, from the flamboyant colour to the wicked 80's cut, this jacket if phenomenal! It's so royal and showy it's classy! Paired with skyscraper heels or just an old pair of trainers this is going to look fabulous on anyone. It's defiantly on my Christmas list!
£69.99
This collaboration has to be one of the best so far, pieces that scream quality and classy and pieces that are fabulous! H&M should be proud!
Sorry!

Back to School Bags
Yes, unfortunately it's that time of year again when some of us return to out studying. School days however can be made all the more fun by looking your best, whether it's to catch the eye of your high school crush, impress a colleague or simply feel fabulous! If your starting a new job and want to make the best impression or a new school for that matter, whatever it is the summers over and winter is approaching.
A staple accessory for the coming weeks is of course a fly new bag! So here at rough style we have gathered the hottest satchels, rucksacks and bags to make sure you look the business.
The Cambridge Satchel Company - The Designer
A classic vintage style satchel from the brilliant Cambridge Satchel Company, a timeless piece with a twist of the two tone colours to keep it new. Priced at £113 for a 14" size.
Lazy Oaf - Space Pack
This edgy, cool rucksack will be sure to get you noticed, it's got loads of pockets for all your stationary and books! On the inside there is a phone and zip pocket to keep your belongings safe. Measuring 40x42 cm and priced at £55.
Topshop - Black Leather Merino Lock Frame Satchel
A simple yet incredibly stylish and chic satchel/bag, the duo of texture really adds a little more to this classic black bag. Ideal for any classy business lady or sophisticated student. Priced at £95.
Nica - Rucksack
A cool kooky rucksack from nica, a more subtle style than the above lazy oaf one but its still just as eye catching and a nice alternative to a classic style bag. Priced at £45.
Pieces - Hurla Tartan Satchel
A classic shape but a different pattern than you'd be used to seeing on a satchel, i think this is a great bag it manages to be different and individual whilst still keeping the class and sophistication. Priced at £50.
peace out xoxo
Friday Fiver
This Fridays bargain is fab! This lovely coin purse from @Forever21 is a must have for the coming autumn season with rich red and orange it will certainly inject some colour into your autumn wardrobe! peace out xoxo

Joseph Nigoghossian...
After presenting his first collection at London Fashion Week 2010 Joseph Nigoghossian is now working with House of Holland. Joseph is known for his 3D print design and after looking at his pieces on Primitive London it's clear why.
I absolutely adore the 'First Kiss' T-Shirt, the label 'First Kiss' sounds as if it is incredibly tacky but the actual product is far from it. There is no slogan or cartoon depicted "true love" but the true picture of two kids at a party, bright lights and shows what really goes on these days. The beauty of this top is that it's so subtle as well and the colours aren't garish.
I'd pair it with detailed tights, chunky heels and a job lot of jewellery!
peace out xoxo
Topshop A/W 2011 Glam Underground
To kick start Rough Style I have decide to look at a brilliant new collection from the high street's trend setting Topshop! 'Glam Underground' is part of Topshop's A/W 2011 Collection and boy is it glam. This range of clothes are absolutley fabulous, combining the bold glam faux fur which is bang on trend this coming season, not to mention the definition of glamour, and elegant flowing skirts to keep it new. It's luxe grunge one might say, pairing the above black heeled boots (which are absolutely divine!) and gorgeous pleated contrasting white midi skirt really gives the classic 'glam grunge' look a new edge. Not only does this collection give a twist to the classic 30's glamour by using more ominous tones but it also gives an air of sophistication to the underground look.
As much as I'm loving this look, especially the top coat, it could do with some sparkle! Considering sequins and glitter was considered to be vary glamours in the 30's there is a lack of them, on the other hand it does help to keep this a subtle underground look. I'm not to sure about the coloured hats myself but I do see how they can keep this look edgy and up to date.
peace out xoxo
