With a heavy heart, I have decided to hold off  Roundview Uni for now until my will to run this rp again comes back. I have put a lot of effort into this rp and wouldn’t want to waste them all so maybe in the near future, I will open this roleplay again for applications and hopefully then, the goal will be met so we’ll have a very active opening. Either way, I would like to personally thank everyone who sent in their wonderful applications to me. You are all great writers and am hoping that when I find the heart to open this rp again, you will all still be there as I would love to have the chance to rp with you all.

In light of this, a friend and I have decided to open up a new appless apartment roleplay and we just hit the tags earlier tonight. If you’re interested on checking the rp out (as we have put much effort to making that rp all in all), HERE is the link to the new rp that I will be running along with my friend. Ah, thank you for the information! I might’ve read this somewhere though I still wasn’t sure but I think that’s partly the reason why I didn’t write up a skeleton for a “Senior” undergraduate student. I’m not from the UK so this message helps. Thank you! I’ll tweak the plot page in a bit. :)

Awww this is actually such a nice thing to see, thank you! (Probably the nicest thing I’ve ever received from an anon so far!) Just a suggestion, but if James doesn't eat pork, it might mean he's Jewish.

I appreciate this suggestion but know that the reason why James doesn’t eat pork is completely up to the applicant. It could be about the character’s ethnic background or religion beliefs or just personal preferences or they’re allergic: anything, I leave it up to the applicants to decide, should they want to give a reason behind that particular fact in James’s skeleton :)

Okay, I get that people want to start but discouraging applying for a muse just because they already have apps is just idk not fair?? It's not the mun's fault it they were already applied for and personally, I think it's better if people apply for someone they actually have muse for than a second choice that they'll just drop after three days.

Ah, you actually had me thinking, anon! I realize now that it actually is quite unfair for me to limit the amount of apps that I’ll be receiving for a certain character and for that, I do apologize. I didn’t intend on coming off as if I was taking away the ‘freedom’ of potential applicants when it comes to their picking and applying for the character that they have the most muse for. I just couldn’t help but worry in a way that I might end up setting up the acceptances with incomplete muses but I realize now that that was such a wrong thinking. Thank you for sending me this message and for letting me know of your thoughts! :) I do appreciate it and now I’m taking back what I said about limiting the apps for characters that already have apps for. :) This roleplay is made for everyone to have fun in and is meant to be a place where people can share/show their talent when it comes to writing and all that. At the end of the day, the rp will be about the members and their connection to their characters and I would be disheartened to just see the rp die just because I sort of ‘directed’ the applicants to applying for their second choices just because their primary choice already has a lot of apps instead of encouraging them to apply for the muse they really wanted. Once again, I apologize for what I said and for seemingly being quite unfair, and thank you for coming to me to express your thoughts. :)

so i want to apply for james but WHAT AM I MISSING WHY DOESNT HE EAT PORK FOR SOME REASONS. WHAT AM I NOT UNDERSTANDING.

I don’t think you’re missing anything, dear! I’m just thinking James is allergic to it or it’s a matter of personal preferences. Maybe they had a bad experience with eating pork when they were younger (ex. they had a really bad stomach ache after eating pork one time and it kind of made a mark in their mind so they swore they’ll never eat pork again). :) I’m just giving you ideas, dear! :)

EDIT: May I just add that that fact in James’s skeleton was slightly influenced by the one time that Dan Howell tried to go vegan for a week hahaha. It just crossed my mind while I was writing up James’s skeleton so.. :D
