To be honest … yes. You look exactly like that kind of person who would do so!
I don't know how to feel about the fact that you see me that way.
I just wanted to ask if you’d try to hold your bikini top. I’m unbelievable satisfied by your story!
Of course I tried to hold my bikini top! Do I seem like the kind of woman to let my mammary fly free?
No. I didn't just get swept into the ocean by a large wave while trying to keep my trunks from falling off. Ultimately, I failed.
I didn’t realize how much it was going to hurt watching my favorite musicals again.
Why does it hurt?
What’s everyone’s attraction to that Captain America guy?
Yeah. I've personally never found him attractive.
I found out why so many strange guys have been hitting on me…..
Why have strange guys been hitting on you?
Art Imitating Life || Malea & Rowan
Malea couldn’t help but laugh as they got in the cab. “In New York you’d stand there forever, it’s crazy how quietly that town is.” The raven haired girl looked at him while she listened. “I was certainly not there when he did that. But I suppose he was trying to dance to impress girls or something like that? I always thought he is a rather calm person when it comes to movements. I have no idea but I will totally investigate on that issue. Other than that, I’ve been doing good” she answered his previous question. “So tell me, what are you usually doing if you’re not stuck in a cab with me?”
Rowan chuckled, and shrugged, shaking his head. "Lately, I've been applying for jobs. I finally got a teaching position at the high school a few blocks over. I'll be teaching ninth grade." He scoffed. "That's the oldest I've ever taught. But, I think it'll be fun." He tilted his head. "What about you? I doubt you do much else. Y'know, since, we're in cabs together all the time."
Art Imitating Life || Malea & Rowan
Malea smiled at him and shook her head at the same time. “Don’t bother, I just got here as well. I can wait very well” she said. “I’m ready. If you are ready then let’s go!”
Rowan nodded, and began walking, keeping his pace level with Malea's. "So, how have you been?" He asked, looking at her before flagging down a cab. The two quickly got in and Rowan gave the driver the address they needed before sitting back and crossing his arms. "I saw Jay the other day. I'm not sure what he was doing, though. From the distance I was at, it looked like he was doing a weird dance with his arms. I don't know him well. But, from what I do know, that doesn't seem like something he'd do in public."
I try, but there voices shrill at just the right frequency to deafenin me. Oh god… I can’t imagine… I’m so sorry..
That’s a cute name. My son’s named Tristan.
That's a good point. When Matthias was two, he - of course - touched everything. So, I made the mistake of taking him to a pottery store. He broke a tiny little figurine. It had to have been about three euros. A lady that didn't even work there started yelling about how I didn't watch him adequately and he didn't need to be in the store. Ironically, the store clerk just smiled, said it was okay, and didn't make me pay for it.
That's a nice name. I like it.
I hope so. I don’t know how much longer I can take annoying women screaming at me about how I need to lock him up, even though I was in the process of disciplining him. I’m really tempted to bite them myself. You have a son too?
Just ignore them. They just like to whine. Well, uh, I did. He passed away a year ago. His name was Matthias.
You’re welcome. I’m Brielle, it’s lovely to meet you Rowan. How long have you been on the island for?
Lovely to meet you as well. I've been here for nearly three weeks, I think. I've lost track of time.
Art Imitating Life || Malea & Rowan
It felt like yesterday that Malea had arrived on the island against her will and even though she had lost any track of time, it must have been about a month ago that she actually did so. Even though she tried to avoid public places as much as possible, she was kind of excited to see the art gallery. Not only because she had heard a lot of good things about it, but also because Rowan would join her. He was a nice guy and she didn’t like him because she felt sorry for him. It was refreshing to talk to him. Last but not least, an art gallery was always a reason for Malea to dress up. So after slipping into one of her favorite dresses and shoes, she headed to the Villa. She only had to wait a few short minutes until Rowan showed up as well. “Hey. How’s it doing?”
Rowan smiled as he caught eyes with the short young woman. "Hey! It's going." He chuckled. "Sorry to keep you waiting." He slid his hands into his pockets, checking for his wallet, keys, and phone. "You ready?"
Yeah. He’ll be five in September.
My son stopped biting at three. But, I'm positive it's just a phase.
I can imagine. I’m always here if you just need someone to simply talk to in anyway. Having the support you need is gonna get you through it.
Yeah. Thanks.
Oh, I'm Rowan, by the way.
Art Imitating Life || Malea & Rowan
Rowan needed to get himself out of the house. He'd been here for two weeks, an had barely gotten to know any of his fellow runners. If he was ever going to move on, he didn't need to isolate himself. So, he jumped at the chance to go to an art gallery with Malea. She had been really supportive when he needed it most, and he was grateful. Quickly getting ready, he changed into a nice pair of jeans, and a graphic tee. He polished the quiff in his hair, headed out the door, and walked towards the villa.
I still feel really bad for asking though. I’m sorry for your loss, I can imagine what it does to a person. How are you going with it now?
I'm doing okay, I guess. It still hurts a lot, and being here is a big change. But, I'm okay.
You know what? I don’t. Enough people already think I’m an attention seeking whore, I really don’t need to make things worse for myself.
Okay. That's fine. But, if you ever decide that you do.. I'm here.
And I don't think you're an attention-seeking whore.
