We also spend a lot of the time in the garden, because YEs, and some ppl (probs like, most of Percy’s family/his parents, etc) probably don’t like the fact that the de Rolo heir’s betrothed/hubby is getting dirty Constantly because he loves his plants, bur Percy doesn’t mind. (He gets to see me very happy and, oftentimes, very sweaty so of course he doesn’t mind.)

The other one I went with is this one bc it’s one of my favourite AUs, along with soulmates and reincarnation.

29. Going for a walk, finding a stray animal and deciding to adopt it

Sam always had a weird talent for attracting various animals, so the cat wasn't really a surprise.

In the typical cat manner it started watching them from a distance whenever they happened to pass by. Of course, Sam noticed. Or, really, Grey noticed first and pointed it out to Sam. And then they started noticing it more and more often.

And then, one day, it followed them home. Sam fed it, of course, with whatever he managed to find that was, in his eyes, good enough cat food, and started trying to make friends.

The cat came back, time and time again, and Grey found himself liking the little bastard too. So, when Sam asked if they could keep it, he said yes, with the speed that surprised even himself.

"We'd have to take it to the veterinarian first, you know. See if it's chipped and all that."

"Yeah, obviously", Sam nodded. "And buy all the cat shit, you know, litter box and all."

Grey just hummed.

"How would you want to call it?"

The question startled him. He wasn't sure why Sam was asking him that but here they were, and he had to think of an answer. And he knew he had one in mind already.

"Giliam. If it's a he. Or Tanya."

Sam nodded.

"Yeah, I like that."

Grey smiled at him. And, soon enough, little Gilliam was theirs.
