This beautiful box turtle was in my yard this morning. It was a hot, dry day so I brought out a little chunk of watermelon to see if he had any interest in it. I think he was a fan! I went back out a little while later and he was no where in sight and he didn’t leave a speck of melon behind!

Turtles & tortoises are sweet old souls on long journeys. Be kind to them whenever you can.

DIY Herb Graveyard

Make this in 10 steps if… you have a laser cutter. Like we all do. Seriously, these can be made out of other materials and processes. From the maker:

There are many different approaches you could take to making the gravestones in this project: modeling clay, building up layers of card or art foam, wood carving, actual stonemasonry, laser etching, 3D printing… The list goes on.
