I just kind of intimidated myself out of doing digital art over the past year (due to lack of time and being unhappy with it) AND i also scared myself away from posting here in general lmaoo. all four of them were supposed to hang out, but as it would appear, the pair has been ditched by the other half of the group. (If anyone were to ask Wei Wuxian about this, he'd say that he did as much to be a good wingman and allow them some alone time. In reality, he actually mostly wanted to run off to have some alone time with his certain someone as well.)

Sangcheng week day 2 - What hides in the dark

veeery last minute addition as you can tell, since these were done in my notes app lmaoo.

anyway this is in the same vein as my day 2 from 2023, which plays with the concept of Nie Huaisang eventually suffering from worsening Qi inbalances (despite all the effort he put into not cultivating with a saber) because all the build-up heart demons of the past decade finally caught up with him and tipped him over to suffer the same fate as his predecessors.
