Imagine Benny offering you his coat during a cold night.

“(Y/N)!” You hear a familiar voice yell from behind you. You turn around on your wedged heels, barely staying standing up as you do. You see Benny’s broad form coming towards you against the orange street lights. “Where you goin’?”

“I was just walking home. You and the boys seemed like you were having a nice time, I didn’t want to break it up.” You smile. You really didn’t mind heading home early and leaving Benny. You just didn’t want to be that person to end the good time he seemed to be having, but you were tired and your bed at home was calling.

“Well I’m good to go home darlin’, you just had to say the word. Instead I just turned around and you were gone. Had me worried a might.” He says, starting to walk beside you. The cool late spring winds blew through the trees, sending a shiver down your spine. You cross your arms over your chest, the short black dress you had worn not seeming like the best idea anymore. The heat of the day seemed to give way to chillier temperatures as the sun went down. Benny notices your discomfort and you see him shrug off his coat, draping the heavy navy fabric over you.

“Benny you don’t have to-”

“Hush, I won’t have my woman walking home alone, let alone shiverin’ to death.” He wraps a thick arm around your middle, pulling you close to him, the heat from his muscled body providing ample shelter from the cold. You bury your nose in the collar of the coat, taking in the warm, homey scent. Sighing happily you nudge closer to him as you walk arm in arm down the dim sidewalk, only the wind in the trees and each other to keep you company.

Pairing: Dean x Reader Words: 1137 Requested by Anonymous: Could I please get a oneshot where a witch puts a spell on Dean that makes him talk gibberish (though he hears himself normally) and he keeps telling the reader how he feels even though she can’t understand a word he’s saying, then he doesn’t know the spell is broken when he’s halfway through telling her he loves her?

Dealing with witches was one of the worst things you faced. It wasn’t because of the violence physically. It was because half the time you didn’t know what they had done until something started happening. The element of surprise was the worst thing you could imagine. But sometimes, it was kind of funny.

You knew something had happened just before the witch was able to get away. The spell was directed at Dean. But he had been knocked out, so you wouldn’t know what was going to happen until he woke up.

Somehow you and Sam were able to get Dean to the Impala and back to the motel. He hadn’t woken up yet, so you had to get him into bed as well. That was harder than you had imagined.

You watched him closely. He was breathing, so you knew he was alive, but you were worried about whatever the witch had done to him.

Finally, he started to wake up and you and Sam were there next to him in a second. You knew he’d make some smartass remark about the two of you hovering over him, but you were worried.

When his eyes opened, he blinked a few times to get them to focus. And then he looked over at you and Sam, “Fludder bertgan grent.”
