“I love constructive criticism. It's what makes the world go around. However, the way people nitpick and rag on royal women like Anisha, Rajwa, Meghan, Ariane, Amalia, etc., is just weird and tiresome. Again, I'm not speaking of criticism about spending and their politics, but the constant critiques of their daily activities, mannerisms, clothing, and other irrelevant bs. The constant drivel is so freaking exhausting and just reeks of jealousy and misogyny in the majority of cases. “From all the Romanov sisters, Tatiana was the most regal and probably the only one who would became a royal consort. I heard that Crown Prince Aleksander of Serbia wanted her as wife in mid 1913. This marriage would had made a lot of sense due to pan-slavism. Training as a nurse in WW1 she showed a strong sense of duty and character at an early age, dealing with comitees and painful surgeries. “I like to believe that, not only was Princess Diana welcoming Prince Philip into heaven, but NAOTMAA welcomed him as well. “Going into Romanov territory and the potential marriages OTMA might have entered. Olga was perhaps the most trickiest of all for me to pick on who she could have married since she was the most headstrong out of all the girls and had a strong desire to marry Russian and remain in Russia. With that, I think she would have put her foot down and said no to any marriage proposals from foreign royals. As for Tatiana and Maria, I think they would have gotten married to foreign royalty, but it’s still up in there on who they could have married. I know Alexander I of Serbia (later Yugoslavia) had his eye set on proposing to Tatiana in 1913, but WW1 delayed all future talks of that happening. (Alexander, a massive Russophile, was angered and horrified by the Romanovs execution). Then we have Edward, Prince of Wales. Her mother was deeply fond of England and might have relented letting her favourite daughter live there as the next Queen consort. We also have both George II and Alexander of Greece. Tatiana could have married George instead of Elisabeth of Romania and become the next Queen of Greece. The instability and constant overthrows of the monarchy would have been difficult, but their marriage might have worked out unlike George and Elisabeth’s. Or she could have married his brother Alexander who was a puppet king of Greece under Venizelos’s government rule between 1917 and 1920. Alexander conducted a morganatic marriage with Aspasia Manos in 1919, but they could have arranged a marriage with either Tatiana or Maria to put an end to that affair. Despite failed talks of a marriage between himself and Olga, Carol of Romania visited Russia in Jan 1917 to ask for Maria’s hand, but Nicholas laughed and turned it down by saying that she was still “a school girl”. Queen Marie of Romania did hope that one of Nicholas’s daughters would marry Carol. So it’s possible that Romania would have had another Queen Marie. Unless there was another possibility, like an arraigned marriage with Alexander of Greece. I don’t think anything would have happened between Maria and Mountbatten as he was quite below in terms of royal rankings. As for Anastasia, I think she would have been Queen of Denmark had the Revolution not taken place. Queen Alexandrine herself considered either Maria or Anastasia as potential brides for her son, the future Frederick IX (b. 1899). My money is that in an alternate timeline, he would have chosen to propose to and marry Anastasia. And the Dowager Empress would no doubt be happy to see one of her granddaughters sit on the throne of her native country.” - Submitted by Anonymous
