pokemon is a series about building Your own team and going on Your own adventure with creatures that You collect and befriend, and is designed from the ground up to be personal and immersive. i have never been able to look like myself in a pokemon game. if i bought pokemon z a today and booted it up and tried to customize myself, i would not be able to look like myself. just fuck me i guess.

hey so like i thought i'd come on here and explain my absence a little

in january, my mom got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. despite catching it pretty early it's progressed really, really quickly, and it's been kind of. harrowing? i'm not avoiding anyone purposefully, and sometimes i find the energy to pop in and speak in group settings on like discord. ur always welcome to dm me at any point, i've just kind of been In The Sauce about everything and that means a whole lot of barely reaching out i fear

anyways. not sure what's gonna happen, don't really know if i'm Okay™️, but i am working it out. and i love you all. thanks for being patient with me

so to update on where i've been

my mother is officially in hospice and has a projected few more months to live. my father is on the transplant list and doing multiple dialysis treatments a day
