HM The Queen Consort, The Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and The Countess of Wessex Curtsy/bow to the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II, as she leaves Westminster Abbey for the last time.
Love how Charlotte looked over and saw her great-aunt (?) Sophie curtsey, and immediately knew what to do. George's head bow was adorable. Catherine's curtsey was immediate and so deep. Bless them. The last time they will curtsey and bow to their matriarch and monarch.

Question to admin: are you regretting opening the ask box? I'm glad I'm not you (I mean it the nicest way possible) there are too many crazy people on both sides, idk how you're coping and not lossing patience. Out of respect I won't submit confessions (not that mine were brf related anyway) but just to help out a little. Anyway sending love and hugs 💗. PSA to others click the damn tags that's how the rest of us are keeping up
not regretting, such a major event , would have opened it sooner if we had more time to deal with previous submissions . yeah, many fanatics on both sides but this time is not as worse as prince philip's death because 1) the ask box was closed for the first few days of QE's passing and 2) so many anons who celebrated deaths n used extremely violent/vile language were blocked last time . thanks for ur gesture, thats very much appreciated , but if u want u can still submit, it wont make much of a difference tbh haha.
would definitely help if ppl can just chill and stop submitting multiple confessions (even bordering obsessive and stalkerish 😨) on some royals and royal-adjacent people and similar confessions that have already published

Well done, BBC.
This official picture is more than just an enchanting family scene. It will appear in every history book on the British monarchy years after everyone featured in it has gone.
And the historians will not only be focusing on the baby. They’ll be talking about the Queen.
It is an image with instant and obvious echoes from an earlier age. Because just one other monarch in history has had the pleasure of looking three successors in the eye — the Queen’s great-great-grandmother.
That moment was captured when Queen Victoria attended the christening of Prince Edward of York — the future Edward VIII — at White Lodge in Richmond Park in 1894.
He lies on Queen Victoria’s lap — a baby who will live to see the Moon landings, held in the arms of a woman born in the reign of George III.

Mary Queen of Scots was crowned on the 9th of September 1543 in Stirling Castle in Scotland
Her father’s crown was used, worn by James V at her mother Mary of Guise coronation.
On 24 June 1953, 410 years later, following her coronation at Westminster Abbey, the crown was carried before Queen Elizabeth II in a procession from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to the High Kirk of St Giles, Edinburgh, where the Honours of Scotland, including the crown, were presented to The Queen during a National Service of Thanksgiving.
On the 9th of September, 2022 Queen Elizabeth II body was resting in her Balmoral Castle in Scotland, a day after her passing.
The very same crown is now placed at the top of Queen Elizabeth II coffin in St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.
History has a very long echo.
