Hey, hope its not troublesome, but I just finished naruto and need some naruhina fics but dont know where or how to begin😅. Could you please give me some fic recs? Authors? Anything?

Not troublesome at all! Thanks for reaching out! Let’s see, for starting off, eh? 

The Path We Walk and Sparks, both by tenneyshoes. Both are set in the same universe, though the first one is more a story (a memory loss one, to boot) while the other is more of a collection of one-shots, though they’re still quite closely connected. I think they both capture the essence of the pairing quite well, and The Path We Walk is especially fun for re-reading multiple times.

Between the Trees by utsus. Quite an excellent collection of one-shots, quite diverse too. Chapter 9 especially great, and is one of my favourite one-shots ever. Then, check out utsus’ other works as well, they’re all quite good.

Team 8 by S’TarKan is a classic. Unfortunately, it is incomplete, and hasn’t been updated in quite some time, but it’s quite famous in the fandom. Basically, Kurenai has more of a backstory, and Naruto and Kiba are swapped when the team placements were made (this author also wrote a rather famous Harry potter Fic, Nightmares of Future Past, which was recently removed from fanfiction.net for some weird reason, but it’s one of my favourite works).

Secret Lovers and its continuation, Star Vessel, by @quirrrky are really great, and Secret Lovers in particular is one that it great to read multiple times. They’re both canon compliant and set during the Blank Period, before and after The Last.

One Small Step and A Delicate Condition by Shawny Wong. They are both very sweet, a couple of my favourites, but unfortunately, both are incomplete and haven’t been updated in over 10 years. However, from what is already there, I think they’re still worth a read (especially a Delicate Condition, which works as it is at the moment)

It Was Winter by eliphya. A wonderful bakery AU which just warms the heart, and eliphya has a bunch of other great Naruhina fics as well, which I do recommend you check out at some point. 

Obviously there’s no such thing as “entry level” fics, but I think those are pretty good for getting into it all. Then, there are: 

Anything by @dayseternal-blog​ (AO3) (that’s not the name of a fic, by the way). Honestly, one of the best authors out there, and they just finished a great angst fic, White Lilies, which diverges from canon at The Last. My personal favourite is It’s No Secret, a high school AU.

Anything by @waterrolls (AO3) (again, not a fic, though it might make for a great story actually). All of their work is excellent, my personal favourite being Salvage. It’s sort of a rewrite of the Blank Period, and does it so well as well. 

To match our strides by Stonehill. It’s canon compliant and set before The Last. Another excellent fic with some wonderfully sweet moments

put on your warpaint by borzbois is very well written with an intriguing plot and much excitement. It’s a Tattoo Artist AU. 

Serenity Prayer by katarinahime. A modern AU where Hinata and Naruto meet again after... quite a time apart. It’s a wonderful fic that might be a bit emotionally... heavy, but it’s a great read that I strongly recommend. This author has a few other really great stories too. 

A Hyuuga’s Honor by Elphaba818 is a Mulan AU that is a personal favourite of mine because of how well it adapts the world of Naruto into the story of Mulan (the animated one that is, the actually good one). That is to say, as closely as it follows the movie’s story, it doesn’t just write out Mulan but swap out Mulan and Shang’s names with Hinata and Naruto’s. 

I’ll leave it there for now. These are ones that come to mind at the moment, but there are so many more options to look at, and as you get tangled deeper and deeper in the jungle that is the Naruhina fanfiction world, you’ll just naturally discover more fics as you go along. Also, you can keep the Hyuuga HInata/Uzumaki Naruto AO3 update list up, and check it sometimes to see if you bump into anything that seems interesting, though you may have to apply a liberal amount of filters if you wish to avoid certain pairings or tags. 

And, if the need ever arises, I have a mildly extensive google doc serving as an archive of the fics that I read and thought might be worth keeping a record of.
