Here’s the finished Cupid design I did for a contest. Well, the one I sent in didn’t have the texture but whatever.

It’s Cupid if she went to Mahou Shoujo High. I just wanted to draw Cupid using her bow really, and she’d probably fit in well with a bunch of magical girls. Her design is fairly obvious, her regular colour scheme and heart motifs. I gave her short hair though because I actually prefer Cupid’s hair short, and I stuck in some braids to reference her really elaborate Monster High hair style. The train thing was kinda an after thought, I felt like I should put some see through/chiffon fabric on her somewhere.

Thanks to everyone who gave their thoughts on her outfit, it really helped! I know I said I would make a version with a background for tumblr but I spent forever trying to figure out how to do this thing in photoshop and now I’m sick of it hahaha. Maybe some other time.
