What's an introject?
An introject is an alter in a DID system who has a source from a media. I'm not gonna get into too much detail on what DID is but it's Disassociative Identity Disorder and it comes from childhood trauma. It splits your brain and creates fragments (if that's the right word, I'm sorry if it's not, my first language isn't English)/memory barries so you can 'forget'(not sure if that's the right term) the trauma. The memory barries that split 'create'(again,sorry if not the right word) alters and each of them is different from eachother because they're their own identity.
Alters may split in the future if you go through another traumatic experience or through stress. (The amount of stress you have to go through to split an alter differs from each system,just like a lot of things.)
