It is with extreme trepidation that I return to the rqc, ive been here before under entirely different names about a year or two ago but I left because of the harassment and infighting in the community. Although I can see that those issues have not improved (might actually be worse) this is the space in which I'm allowed to be myself the most and that matters a lot to me. Also the creatures that post here are funny and cool.

Ive ran BAH blogs, ive made coining posts and flags before, I can do character art as well as other things. This isnt the direct purpose of my blog however if you need a service done and cant find anyone else to do it, or simply need something done quick, I am both willing and able

hey guys, Peach here!!! i see a lot of tension lately, so i wanted to share some thoughts directed at those who might be anti-radqueer or skeptical of our spaces, from within those very communities.

1. understand that being radical doesnt mean being cruel. it means addressing the root of the issue. were not trying to attack u personally were trying to dismantle systems that actively harm us.

2. respectability politics wont save anyone. expecting marginalized folks to be perfectly polite, quiet, and palatable to the mainstream is just a way to silence us. our existence is inherently political, and we refuse to shrink ourselves for anyones comfort.

3. try listening to understand, not to debate. when we talk abt our lived experiences and the structures that oppress us, were not looking for a philosophical argument. were just asking for basic acknowledgment of our reality.

4. recognize that our fierce protection of our community comes from a place of deep care. the world is often hostile to us, so we have to be the ones to guard our own boundaries, spaces, and well-being.

were not ur enemies! were just trying to survive and build a world where we can truly be free. i hope u can find some empathy and understanding in that!!

Soft Chocolate Cookies

here's a recipe for @rq-permasmile made this with so much platonic love just 4 u because i care about u a lot and wanted to share somethin

Ingredients:

Flour - 150 g

Sugar - 80-100

Butter - 80 g

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Cocoa powder - 40 g

Vanilla extract - 1 tsp.

Baking powder - 1 tsp.

Ensure butter and egg are at room temperature. Use good quality cocoa. Colorful candies (like M&Ms) work well for decoration.

1. Rub softened butter with sugar (use a fork if needed). For less sweetness, stick to 80 g of sugar.

2. Add the egg and beat until combined.

3. Mix in cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.

4. Add sifted flour and knead into a moderately thick, elastic dough. Add a little extra flour if the egg was large.

5. Roll dough into balls slightly larger than walnuts. Chill on a baking sheet for 20 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F.

6. Flatten each ball using parchment paper and the bottom of a glass. Press candies into the tops. Bake at 350°F for 15-18 minutes (upper/lower heat). Cool on a wire rack.

Another thing about the permamonika situation , i dont like the doc being called the jay files / the monika files , it feels disrespectful to EA survivors , like the official doc is called that . I havent had the time to properly sum up my personal thoughts on it but I strongly agree with this post

Jay's actions are inexcusable to me, and I do think that drawing attention to these kinds of people who are in the community is necessary for information and safety purposes

Certain things about the post/document are questionable to me, despite my agreeance with the intentions behind the callout, I think some areas of this could have been handled a little better and the wording could certainly use some work especially when it comes to using the term pedophile in place of predator, there's a huge difference there

Again, to recap, not saying I agree with any of his actions or that he should be protected in any way, i just think we could be using different terminology and be slightly more courteous to the victims with how that document is titled.
