Problems of Diploma Engineers in Bangladesh in Their Studies
Diploma engineering students in Bangladesh face many problems during their studies. The main problem is the lack of modern laboratory facilities and practical equipment in most polytechnic institutes. Many colleges do not have enough machines or updated tools for proper hands-on training. Another big issue is the shortage of qualified teachers, especially in technical subjects. The syllabus is also quite old and does not match the needs of modern industries. Students often face session jams that delay their graduation. Moreover, job opportunities after completing the diploma are limited, which affects their motivation. Financial problems and lack of proper guidance also make their study life difficult. To solve these issues, the government should modernize the curriculum, improve labs, and ensure better training and job support for diploma engineers
