So, I feel like lately (could be the weather changes, idk) a lot of the boys in the gfd/rr community are feeling pretty down about themselves. More than usual.
I know that you’re all lovely people and that you deserve love and affection. But most of all, you deserve kindness from other and from yourself. The hardest thing to do is to be your best friend when times get tough. You need to separate yourself from your negative thoughts for a minute and ask yourself: “Would I say this to another person?” and “Would I let another person say this to me?” If your answer to at least one of those questions is no, then why would you say those things to yourself? Do you really think you’re being fair when you think everyone except you deserves love?
You’re not doomed to be forever alone. And I know that deep down you don’t believe it. Nor does anyone else in this community. I haven’t seen anyone post anything negative about any of you (at least I should hope) because nobody in the community believes it. I wish you could see how wonderful you all are.
And please remember, if you need to talk about something with someone, don’t feel like a burden and avoid talking to them. A person who has offered to listen to you or who is asking what’s wrong will not see you as a burden, because they actually care.
