I fucking hate phaidei so much because they’ve got a type of freak that I have no clue how to write.

They’re friends, rivals, lovers, and enemies all at once. Their spars are themselves a love language. Tenderness is not a luxury they can afford nor know how to afford, so their competitions have to make up for that. They're enigmatic to everyone but themselves. They're side-by-side, walking contradictions that go together like puzzle pieces. They talk so much and yet leave so much unsaid, implicitly trusting the other to understand what's being left behind in the silence. Mydei has only ever yielded to Phainon. Phainon has only ever remembered feeling with Mydei. They are hard fought equals and yet put each other on pedestals higher than the gods they serve. There's devotion painted in gold and loyalty barred behind duty. Sun and moon. Gold and Silver. Next to each other and against each other and for each other. I cannot describe them without going into poetics and theatrics because these FUCKERS don't want to say shit on fucking god

Sometimes I go, ok what would I think if I was either Phainon or Mydei thinking about the other. And the answer is always “implode.”
