i’ve been thinking a lot about twinyards lately, so… how often did aaron catch feeling afraid when he saw andrew losing control? intellectually, of course, he understood that his brother would never hurt him, but it doesn’t work that way. the problem is that he is a victim of abuse, and people like that think differently; when they see aggressive behavior from loved ones, they often focus on the negative. it just happens naturally.
