i haven't been active due to Real Life Responsibilities and Unfortunate Events within the family ; my summer this year has consisted of spending most of my free time helping my grandmother, as she's gone through many major losses, her house is quite cluttered, and she has big plans for her home and both her front and backyard that we hope to pull through on by the end of the year!
additionally, i've had one of my great-aunts [ one of my grandmother's sisters ] visiting to help out for the summer, so that has also been fun to acclimate to for a few months. she will be leaving near the end of August or early-ish September, so my activity should pick up by then!
again, thank you SO much for this ask despite me not getting to it right away! life's been kinda hectic and i greatly appreciate getting asks like this!

Commission Scammers
Hey Guys
Iâve been dealing with a problem recently and I need to spread the word.
There are people out there on here, Twitter, archive of our own, fanfiction, and other sites that are begging people to commission them for whatever reason.
I gotten some thatâll say that they read or seen what I have, will want to draw it or something, and to contact them on discord or something.
But the problem is, when you go on their accounts, they donât have anything theyâve written or drawn.
Theyâre just luring you to get money out of you.
And when you try to turn them down, whether or not itâs in a polite way, sometimes theyâll get mean or keep getting pushy with their questions even if you say no.
This is what happened to me just a little while ago and I wonât reveal the name.
These are a few other examples when I was on fanfiction. I crossed out the names and their social media accounts so I wonât be accused of name-dropping.
I told him I wasnât interested, but they kept asking me questions until I told him to stop and they got a little upset with me and blocked me before I could block them back.
Of course, I did block them because they were rude. I think theyâre just mad that I wasnât fooled.
Sometimes more and more will just keep coming until it drives you crazy.
Thatâs basically the reason why I left fanfiction.net because I keep getting private messages and comments about people doing the same thing.
Iâve actually met real commissioners out there who are honest and actually do real work. If you look up the scammer, youâll see they never did any real work and only just want your money.
All Iâm asking is for everyone out there is to be careful.
There are actually good artists and commissioners out there we do amazing work and itâll be well worth the money.
But there are people who will try to trick you just like with those phone scammers.
Just do your research and be careful who you trust out there .
