When people say that Stolas is babied by the story, they're talking about the writing choices that protect Stolas.
He broke up his family by cheating on his wife? Actually, Stella is an abusive monster who mistreated him throughout their marriage.
He specifically, whether it be unintentionally or not, created a power dynamic, constantly displayed his power and his raceplay over Blitz by calling him "my little imp," and even proposed their deal while Blitz was literally getting shot at, meaning he wasn't in the right state of mind to agree? There'll be an entire episode shitting on Blitz and victimizing Stolas over a relationship and dynamic that Stolas himself created.
