It's been a couple weeks since I've had any opportunity to share progress on my fic. Progress is slow, unfortunately, especially with how busy this month is for me. But it is happening.
It portal map still seemed as unreal as it did the night before. Of course, wouldn't fully activate with his touch alone, but he wasn't trying to do that for now. He had never seen a portal used before. Just like the maps used to store them, they had been out of practice for a very long time, and their methods were an unofficially closed secret among those who knew it. He had tried to research them, when he was younger, but he'd only been met with red tape and flat refusals. But...perhaps the map itself would be more willing to divulge its secrets.
