Let's talk about this scene though, cause it's absolutely heartbreaking to me. Whether Dream realizes it or not, he craves connection. He wants it, platonic unconditional love or more. Here he tries to give a nice, comforting smile to show he's friendly, but it's spat back in his face. Then the way he ducks his head down afterward crawling back into that shell... ugh, it really breaks me.
