"Return to the Moon" Artemis Ⅱ 2026

I think it’s interesting how solid fuel rocket engines always leave thick exhaust clouds behind them, while the gases produced by liquid fuel engines dissipate almost immediately.
I genuinely cannot stand that featherglow account that writes ship fics of Reid and Christina. They are COWORKERS. Christina is MARRIED. And I’m pretty sure those fics are AI too? They also post personal pictures of Christina (and maybe the rest of the crew I’m not sure) to promote their shitty fics.
Real person fiction creeps me out big time.
I adoreeeee twilight in her first coronation gown... she genuinely looks so beautiful in yellow They chose the exact perfect shade to suit her. And the pink in the dress too My god they actually COOKED! I adore the little curls in her hair too
could you try making an older Tulin? He could be in his later teens, to adulthood, heck make him an old man if you want? go crazy!!! I just like seeing my boy.
I actually drew an older Tulin way back in 2019! It was for a BOTW bad end AU, where Link and Zelda perished and were reborn as a Rito and Gerudo respectively, as Hylians had mysteriously disappeared following the Calamity. A dark premise, but the story itself was pretty lighthearted and focused on unraveling the past and reuniting all of the people of Hyrule through alternate versions of the characters. As a Rito, Tulin would be Link’s best friend at the start of the story :)
I have a ton of stuff for this AU, but I was too shy to post things back then. Maybe I’ll show more of it!
It took me multiple seconds to realize that Teba is holding a cane, not a gun.
caramel frappe give me the strength to clean my room
caramel frappe PLEASE
#this art is so evocative. it feels like a goya painting
thank you so much this is the highest compliment
OP did a lovely job with this piece. The pose they picked is a difficult one to do correctly and dynamically- the doubling over is hard to illustrate without making it look weird or poorly drawn, the low seat of the “pelvis” making the figure dip down lower (to emphasize the clutching motion of the hands) is a hard perspective to imagine without a reference. I liked the way OP chose to draw the shoulders, evoking both the hunching of shoulders that would be present in a fleshier painting and drawing out the strong, dynamic curve of the body.
The blood, the desperate clutch, the crying and the pose all suggest something religious, making the post all the more impactful with its drawing- The caramel frappe does not answer the subject, just as God does not answer the subjects of paintings who depicted the same theme.
It’s also intriguing where OP chose to put details. In amostly minimalist creation, the (relatively) detailed frappe, hands, and face guides your eyes in a a dynamic way- from the frappe to the face, then follows the line of the body out to the end of the legs- making the art more interesting to the eye.
I have a theory about the colors that I’m not sure is true, but I think the subject being black and white separates it from the frappe, which is fully colored. The blood, neither frappe nor person colored, acts as a connector between the two– the only ways the two subjects can connect are through touch and sight, both of which causes the human subject pain. Then again, I may be reading into things too much idk
okay this is my favorite comment on this entire post
"But I did have breakfast this morning..."
The thing about Wildehopps that I’m so insane about is how neither of them asked to be in love.
Nick’s like,
“Wow. Sure is nice having someone around that I actually enjoy. This hasn’t happened in a while. And she enjoys being around me? That’s crazy. I…I really like being around her actually. Wait hang on this is weird. Oh wow I REALLY like being around her. I—oh. Oh no. Okay this is. This is bad. Good things don’t happen to me. I can’t have a good thing happening to me. Okay maybe if I never say anything, it’ll just stay exactly like this and I get to keep her around exactly like this anyway. That’s. Yeah that’s good enough for me. That’s more than I’ve ever needed. I can cope if we just never bring it up. This is fine.”
And Judy’s like,
“Boy, I can’t believe I made a friend! And I really enjoy being around him! And I know he’s standoffish and annoying, but he clearly likes being around me too. And we work well together! And I adore him! I’m gonna get him gifts. I’m gonna tell him how proud of him I am. I’m gonna make it so clear how much I love him because he deserves to be loved. I would actually be fine if this was my only friend ever. I would actually be fine if we saw each other all day every day. I would actually be fine if we died together. I would actually be fine if—wait, hang on. This is. This is just. He’s my best friend, right? I’m his best friend too, right? Oh. Oh wait he. He cares about me a LOT. Okay hang on I might…I might have jumped the gun, I gotta check the definition of ‘best friend’ again, hold up.”
They are NOT romantic characters. They do not have romantic histories, certainly nothing that defines them. They never asked for this. They never wanted this. It was an ACCIDENT. But it was BOTH their accidents.
If they had to fall, at least they fell together.
They’re so codependent it’s unreal <3 <3 <3.
bro i fucking hate living next to a fucking tavern they always have the worst fucking singers performing on saturdays
my life is a joke i live 2 minutes from a castle in one direction and the old town market in the other. you can see remnants of the old walls in part of the town, our library used to be the medieval townhall. we have a 500 y/o fairy tree overlooking the entire valley. and i dont even have any elves to fuck
@hella1975
SCREAMING
I sound confident as hell every time I say I can take Judy and Nick at the same time when realistically I’d just end up being their cuck
Any threesome involving WildeHopps just be Nick & Judy making out, while the third does all the hard work under the covers.
Voyeur.
The first panel, on its own, would’ve been goddamn hilarious.
It bugs me how every new iteration of Scooby Doo pretends that none of the other iterations ever happened. I don't mean that canonically, I mean that thematically; every single new cartoon or movie starts with the premise "what if the monsters were REAL this time?" as if that hasn't been the premise since the 80s! Every single new version of Scooby Doo has real monsters and real magic, but the pop culture version of the show that exists in people's memories was about kids catching crooks in rubber masks, so no matter how many times they fight actual monsters the writers want you to be SHOCKED like it's some novel concept. They keep reusing the same twist!
Oh, and none of the gang have had consistent characterization over the years.
People act like Fred has always been a himbo with a fetish for traps, but that's new. He started off as a boring blank slate, just a generic protagonist guy whose major characteristics started and ended with "being the leader." In the 90s with Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost they made him an enthusiastic skeptic, "I figured it out, gang! It's some guy in a mask trying to scare the local kids, same as always," but then he'd be proven wrong by the real monsters and real magic. James Gunn decided to make him a self-absorbed asshole in the 2002 movie, and every cartoon since has either had him be generic All-American Jock or trap-obsessed himbo, depending on whether the writers hate him or like him.
Velma gets angrier and less social with each new iteration, like she can't stand being surrounded by idiots who believe in magic and monsters (until she's proven wrong, like always). Daphne was another blank slate like Fred until James Gunn decided she was a damsel-turned-badass, and showrunners waffle back and forth between that version and Hashtag Girl Boss which is just badass Buffy Daphne without the fighting skills. Scooby can just talk now, like full sentences, hardly any speech impediment, it's distracting. Shaggy is perfect, no notes.
I made something that's probably already been made.
Happy out of touch Thursday

the god emperor isn't and never was a very good emperor, as we know, but he's not a good god either? he regularly resurrects sisters of battle but that's like, it. he doesn't even have any greater demons :/ I suppose malum caedo and saint celestine are candidates but I don't think they'd appreciate me calling them that
@roboute-guilliman thoughts?
I'd prefer not to talk about what happened on Iax.
bitch what the fuck did u do
It was fine.
I mean... Doesn't St Celestine awaken at the bottom of a mountain of her own corpses within a space within the Warp and regains her power and memories as she scales and emerging from the peak of said corpse mountain?
Isn't there a space rumoured to be where the Legion of the Damned return whenever they vanish from the Materium?
The Emperor's fate is* to become a god and a god of the Warp must have a place prepared for them as a god of the Warp is, has and will always be.
Isn't that what the Empyrean is? The insubstantial reflection of the Imperium of Man, the realm within the Warp that contains every soul who has died in dedication to and with fervent faith. So, would St Celestine not be something akin to a daemon? I believe she possesses a new host with each new ascension, and she has been known to appear on multiple battlefields at once, galaxies apart. Wasn't there also a celebrated hero from a crusade who miraculously survived a lethal wound (the injury never closed, and the bloodied bandages he used to stuff the wound are now holy relics and used in healing rituals by hospitaliers, I think).
Then there's the Legion of the Damned, which are Daemon Astartes. Which is cool and they've been known to only appear at apocalyptic events, meaning Big E is constantly seeing into the future to perfectly know when and where to send his eternal soldiers.
But on the note of Big E gaining or developing his own personal collection of Daemonic spirits/greater Daemons/Daemon Princes, what would be the necessary and escalating actions/rituals/acheivements/bargains one would/should/could make with Big E to begin pursuing that ideal. Because I imagine there would be several Sisters of Battle/radical and extremist Inquisitors who would love to pursue that line of logic to its complete and total conclusion to bolster the God Emperor and the two-pronged war on both the Materium and the Immaterium.
Big E almost became a god during the Horus Heresy, and there were rumoured ancient texts on Terra and other planets predicting the nightmarish birth and reign of a god of the Warp called the Black King. Following the "logic" of the Warp, the Black King exists, and as such, so must his seat of power with the Warp, just like Khorne's Colloseum, Nurgle's garden, Tzeentch's labyrinth and Slaanesh's palace.
If the right rituals, relics, and powers come to the right place, could the Emperor attain a powerful soul and see them become his first Greater Daemon. Like, imagine if somehow, a powerful ritual with faith and psychic power occured on Medusa and was channeled into Ferrus Manus' preserved skull. W/Could that transform Manus' soul into something... more. Is Ferrus' soul even free, or does Fulgrim have it as a trophy
Video game idea
Factorio, but for pea-brains (like me.)
It’d sell like hotcakes.
I’d buy it.
