My progress so far! As this is a uni project, it’s chapters aren’t fully finished besides the first six pages of three of the chapters (which I am still working on). But I hope you enjoy the little preview! This’ll be the first time I aim to finish a comic and in full colour at that 🙂‍↕️ there’ll be a lot of trial and error and adjustment as I learn to draw in this way!

Ps. It is my aim to post on Webtoon so I shall see how well that goes 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ I likely won’t put anything up until my submission is over in May, since I’d liiiike to put up the whole chapter in one go rather than in sections. But if it comes to that, then I’ll update on that!

This is a MegaStar Gemformers collection.

Starscream is a star-shaped pearl in different colors, and Megatron is an Obsidian.(G1/cybervers→Fire Obsidian；TFP→Rainbow Obsidian; SG→Blue Sheen Obsidian)

I picked Obsidian for Mega mainly because I once watched a SU analysis on YouTube saying that non-fusion Obsidians seem to be more like army-based construction workers — basically labor-class Gems. Not super high in status, but very powerful. And since we also see Snowflake Obsidian having some unique abilities in the show, it just felt like a really good fit.

As for Starscream… no explanation needed. Pearl-coded from the start 💅✨

And their fusions will be like…

I don’t think I have time to draw these but it’s fun to think about it.

Arrow and Pursuit are committed to tormenting each other but that’s what they like as Decepticon Torture Specialist and Super Spy.

Arrow and Enigma share a long past of mnemosurgery experiments, but Enigma swears she’s doing it for good reasons! Arrow finds her delusional mindset fascinating and keeps her around to break her. He knows he’s bad! Enigma needs to catch up, it’s been centuries!

Malady is their disgruntled coworker who Enigma finds hot since she’s the only other femme on the facility. Beggar’s can’t be choosers when you’re a captive of the worst pair of husbands alive 😔 but her attempts are thwarted by a mech not even there. Malady still thinks about the ex-cop who ruined her life… fondly…

They are all evil.
