Mamma mia! (Lily & Alex)
Alexander closed his eyes as some steam rolled out of the basket containing the bread. Bread was one of his weakness, and when it was recently baked, the smell was celestial to him. He smiled, taking a deep breath and looking to Lily afterwards “Sorry. It’s a weird pleasure I have” he admitted with a soft chuckle.
His eyes widened at her story “Whoa, a bear? Damn, that’s terrible!” he couldn’t help but laugh as he pictured a smaller Lily and a redhead boy running with a shotgun and a bear after them “I was chased by a junkie who thought I was a undercover dwarf cop once” he remembered with a laugh.
"Why don’t we talk a little about the present? What do you do for a living?" he asked curiously, taking a sip of his coke
Lily shrugged off Alexander bringing the bread up to his face. "I think everyone does that," she replied casually. "Food that smells good should smelled. Bread smells good, ergo, your 'weird pleasure.'"
"I was chased by a junkie who thought I was an undercover dwarf cop once."
The redhead took a second to swallow the bit of bread she'd nearly choked on at that. "Undercover dwarf cop?" she managed.
"What do you do for a living?"
"Uh--I'm a graphic designer--are you just going to let that dwarf cop story go untold?" She raised her eyebrows at him in bewilderment.
