well guess what, for a fandom that is literally built off of vibes and headcanons, the least we can do is create more of them that include more than just white skinny dudes and girls. So yes, make Mary black, make James desi, make Evan latino. Make what you want out of it.

we can keep writing of Sirius as "pale" "pallid" "ivory" but we also could do the opposite.

the only thing stopping u is the fear of people not feeling represented, but as a mixed person i NEED to see more diversity in the fandom i feel the most at home in.

chapter three of “burnt soles” is out now on ao3

this one was fun to write. after the audition, the trio goes home and have lunch with Carla.

they wanna have fun now and not think about the audition until the following day, when they’ll have the results, so the wander around Harlem.

at a diner called Penny’s Pot (the first geographical location I invented thus far in this story, the rest is all accurate to the address) they meet James and Sirius.

in the end, there’s a sex scene, so beware of that.

you won’t expect it, but they’re boys, doing what boys do.

CW: mentions of HIV/AIDS, drug dealing scene is witnessed, homophobic f-slur is used, and mild sexual intercourse is depicted.

set in new york in 1987, the story follows remus lupin after he moved to the city to apply for LaGuardia high school.

in the timeshared he temporarily sleeps in, he meets the Rosiers.

yesterday i posted the second chapter in which sirius black does his little cameo, still unnamed and unknown to remus.

sirius, remus and evan and barty crouch jr are ballerinas

james, regulus and lily are actors

pandora is a painter

side characters will be added

the story is heavily inspired by Fame (1982-1987) and Pose (2018-2021), and tons of books I’ve read this year, even Bread of Angels by Patti Smith.
