âYou can play where you did before? Or do they just get tired of the practice itself? Because, hey, if you ever need space, Iâm sure one of these coffee shops or something would like a nice little talent night or something. Sounds cute, right?â Georgie took a sip of the cold coffee and shrugged, âit was a good place to get some reading done. And I like people watching so,â she nodded at the window vantage point she had, âfigured I could have some coffee and do all three. I wonât give away your seat if you want to grab a coffee, by the way.â
âI think theyâve moved past annoyance and are now overtly angry.â She laughed, picturing the looks on her upstairs neighborsâ faces as they threatened to call the landlady for the fifteenth time. âThat is super cute! Iâd only attend as a fan though, I think they need to save that for the real talent.â She gazed at the window Georgie had gestured to, and though she hadnât noticed it in her rush in, she was able to see now why the brunette favored the view. It was a lovely little street, and it wasnât at all short in interesting passerby to watch. âI see your point, it really is a nice little cafe, isnât it?â Ruby agreed, realizing what a pity it was that she had only been there a handful of times. âIâll wait until that line dies down just a little, I canât stand standing in lines, especially when Iâve got such nice company.â She grinned. âSo, whatâve you been up to lately?â
