Random rant, so please bear with meā¦
I just wish things were a little easier. I changed jobs this year and it was supposed to have a higher salary and better benefits, but all Iām really getting is the better benefits. More than half my paycheck is taken out each time, leaving us with about 1000 less each month than I got at my last job. And with the increased cost of groceries and energy prices spiking, it is so hard to put food on the table and keep the lights on. I take care of my husband who is not able to work, so his bills are added on to my bills and honestlyā¦
I donāt know how to keep it all up. We have $40 to get us through the next two weeks to payday, and I have no idea how we are going to get through December. As I feared, costs just keep going up and up and up, and a load of bread has gone from 1.99 to 4.99, eggs by me are around $5 a dozen, and forget it if you try and order anywhere. Even McDonalds has gotten so pricey.
I honestly donāt know how we will make ends meet next month, and too many people I know are in the same boat.
When is it supposed to get easier? When do you stop feeling like you are drowning trying to figure out how to pay everything?

Thank you for your patience; since this is a very specific type of angst it took the team a minute to find. That said, some of these fics stretched your ask a little bit in that parental/guardian disapproval is only one part of the plot and not the primary focus of the fic.
