Your Lying Smile, when Kagome tries to give up Inuyasha and he comes storming into the room, angry because he's fallen for her but thinks she doesn't feel the same and they realize they love each other. I love how he's both angry and vulnerable in that moment, and then its Oh no... no no no we are not having this I am showing you how much i love you right here, right now.

Fanfic Meme K, P, V!!!

Well hello @ruddcatha!!!

K: The angstiest idea I've come up with? Well, it's actually out there on AO3 but it was rushed and not well written. I'll circle back eventually. I had written it in high school actually; it was where Kag was killed by Nar and Inu blames himself. Her soul retreats into hiding so she can't be used like Kik was. More or less, her schoolmate who is not a friend from school comes through the well and falls in love with Inu. Inu, of course, refuses to move on from Kag. Kag is brought back, knows she doesn't belong there, but Inu can't let her go. Lots of angst. Eventual Happy Ending. But yea. It's on the backburner until I have time to re-write and actually make it work better.

P: Am I Architect or a Gardner? Really--depends on the story. Some stories have been so thoroughly plotted like Bad Blood, The Great Dog Demon War, Cardigan, Lover, Holding out for a Hero, and Rock Bottom that writing them is like ok cool--but at the same time oh f I gotta follow my plan and not make this longer. Vs Shelter, willow, Halloween, What You Like, Call You Mine, Let me Love you, Envy, Pride, and my other long list of one shots that I could list for days are like, alright here---let's see where this takes us.

And V: A secondary character I want to see more of in a fic? Well, I do always love Shiori and Rin. Rin is considered a main--so Shiori. I've seen a rise in her recently and am sooooooo happy to see it :) She's just a doll!

i’m so happy that someone asked about this one. ;-; 

so this is kind of a childhood best friend-to-lovers/small town sorta situation. so inuyasha and kagome grow up as children together, with izayoi (WHO IS ALIVE :D) and mrs. higurashi being friends as well as neighbors and they all hang out regularly. but inuyasha gets suuuper sick when he’s like 12/13 and as a result of that his voicebox gets severely damaged to the point where he develops spasmodic dysphonia (which i’ve linked information on!) and ends up not really speaking anymore (but i’ve linked to how his voice might sound afterward!), and it will lead to some shenanigans as well as issues for our hanyo baby! i have plans to go from their childhood to their adulthood, but idk if it’ll be in the form of one-shots or a linear chapter fic. we’ll see!

Inuyasha, normally, had skin that was so beautifully tan, like he spent all his time outside under the sun. Now, just a few days inside with the curtains drawn, he was pale and sweaty. His face was scrunched up in discomfort, and she let out a whimper at the whispered sound of her name leaving his lips as his eyes only barely open at her presence. His body was half-hanging off the bed as if he was trying to get up to stand in front of her, but didn’t have enough strength to get the rest of the way up. With a worried frown, Kagome sets the folder on the foot of his bed and quickly runs to his side, carefully looping her arms under his and carefully, slowly, scooting him back onto the bed.

It’s strange, to hear him gasping for breath. As soon as he’s on his bed again, he all but collapses back onto the pillow and sucks in a hoarse breath. “Ka...gome,” he whispers, whispers, and she brushes her fingers through his sweaty bangs. “You should … back away.”

Exactly!! Inuyasha is a compassionate person. I love him so much. 🥺 He can love more than one person at once. Heck, he loves MirSan and Shippo, he loves Kaede.

Both women represented different things for him but Kagome was just the better partner for him.
